OOP KK 3wp

1/3 9 handed.

V1 is super aggro spewy, he already spewed off like 2000+ already tonight. He loves to barrel when he has the initiative.

HH1
V1 3barreled with K7o on JT38K.
HH2
V1 3betted from blinds vs co w/78cc
3barreled shove river on KJ9ssh 3h 9h.

A few more similar hands, where he spew off money.

V2 plays fishy. But he can make tight folds that make no sense(he folded 2pairs vs a shortie for less than 100bucks more).
He also slowplays some hands oop then donk big on river.
He also x/c flop donks super small on scare board(flush turn) with sets/two pairs then folds to a small raise on flop/turn?????

HH1 from last session
Straddle was on for 6, v2 limps in mp, Hero in bb opens to 25 with ak, v2 flats with 7To.
Flop AA7r H cbets 15, v2 calls
Turn T H bets 35, v2 calls
Riv 3, H shoves for 220, v2 tank call.
He said he thought I was bullying him like the other asian guy who raised with air vs him, after he folded bottom2 on kqtdd????

HH2 from this session
V2 limps q9o ep, H opens to 15 in mp w/AQo V2 call

Flop AQ9r, V2 donks 15, H raises to 45, V2 3bets 165, H ships and won.

Actual hand

Hero has been playing tight all night.

Effective stacks 300

Hero in UTG w/KK opens to 15, V1 in mp call, V2 flats in LP.

Pot 49
Flop 964r
Hero?

It's kind of irritating to open a post and see multiple hand histories to wade through. Just use your own observations from these hands to describe and summarize the player's tendencies.

Given V1’s tendencies, and three way oop, I am check/calling this flop. I could also support making a small bet to 15, but I would want a better read that a fishy V will call Ax.

Start with a check. Aggro-spewy should bet for you and "bet or call when I have a piece" will let you know how he's doing. You've the worst position on paper; make it the best position in practice with a check.

Edit: it's 964r. What do you open UTG that's world-beating here? 99?? Your range is strong enough to call, unless Spewy bombs and V2 raises, so do that.

Honestly I'm not even sure there's enough here to warrant its own thread. What's to discuss?

PRE - I don't hate the open to $15. That's my standard open at 1/3. But if the game has been splashy, and we think we can get some light calls, we can open bigger, like $20 or even $25, especially when we'll probably be playing the rest of the hand OOP, and possibly multi-way.

FLOP - Although I usually check-range when HU and OOP as the PFR, this isn't heads-up. It's multi-way, and there isn't much reason to expect our opponents to come out stabbing at this particular flop texture. There are no made hands possible, and it's not super draw-heavy. We can have all the over-pairs here, plus some sets.

We could just go bet-bet-bet and try to get stacks in over three streets, when we're only starting $300 eff. Just bet $30 on flop, $100 on turn, and jam the river.

We check, v1 bets 25, v2 folds
We x/r 85, V1 calls

In retrospect maybe this was a check/call3st vs this specific villain who is always aggro when he has the initiative.

pot 219
Turn 3
Hero?

As played all in you've got less than pot size left and he called the raise so presumably he has a piece of that board.

Just shove -- if he has us beat, so be it. Let's hope he calls w/ A9.

I ended up shoving, V folded while saying I guess it's a fold huh

I would x flop, since V1 bet flop I would flat and let him bet turn, then shove.

You're costing yourself value by over-thinking / over-playing too many hands.

Like I said in my post above, "We could just go bet-bet-bet and try to get stacks in over three streets, when we're only starting $300 eff. Just bet $30 on flop, $100 on turn, and jam the river."
