What adjustments do you make here?
Ok this lag used to play very laggy style when I first saw him.
Oop, I used to check/raise light on turn vs him, he always folded. We might have tricky aggro image vs him specifically but nitty vs others. We also used to 3bet him light when we had position vs him.
Recently he has toned it down alot of his aggression in general. He still calls crazy wide vs others pre and post.
Hand that was recently played
V straddles for 6, Hero in btn opens to 20, He flats with AK oop???? Effective was only 300
Flop AQ7r V xc 20
Turn 3 xx
Riv 8 V bets 30 H calls n mucks
What are some adjustments do you make when playing vs him after seeing this?

You're not describing anything close to a LAG, you're describing an OMC or fish. If he's just calling AK OOP then you have to be nitty vs his continuing range. Deep you can raise his limps a lot IP (if he limps) with a lot more speculative hands. Overfold to his aggression post.

I'm saying he has adjusted from his original style over the span of 2+ months. And no he doesn't limp.
Stop trying to bluff him off his hand on the river?
The HH was written in a non-standard way but Hero just called Vs bet on the river and was no good vs Villians AK…honestly would need to see more to make big adjustments on this hand you sometimes see LAG players get too FPS trapping pre- but then you would normally see the flop get c/r or a big boy over bet on the river with AK…so maybe his poker roll is depleted and he has become a nit…just pay attention to his showdowns and recalibrate….this hand is leaning towards nitty since he didn’t c/r flop or over bet/ c/r river

Ppl change style all of a sudden because of roll issues? Wow, never thought of it like that.
I thought he was adjusting to pop tendencies or adjusting to me. lol

Would be a weird adjustment to the live tendency to over call vs 3-bets also yeah ppl play different all the time due to life circumstances. My last session a Rec who plays generally tight and pretty solid was spewing because he was on tilt because his new built home had issues that weren’t caught during home inspection.
