So pot is $180 on the river?
You could bet really small, like $20 to get called by any hand without a spade. I don't think any hand you beat is calling much more than that. Maybe you could accidentally get a small spade to fold by betting?
I think bluffing for a large size to try and get a low spade to fold is suicide at low stakes.
Checking back is probably the right move here. I don't think V has a 2 card flush, but could easily have a single spade in hand.
Post stack sizes if you can.
Preflop go at least double. 30 would be fine but I wouldn't squeak if you had made it 40.
Flop bet is OK with TPGK in position (on most) but probably smaller.
Your turn bet smells very weak. No harm in checking back turn, you can go for thin value on blank rivers if checked to again. A limp-call range might have lots of weak Ax in it. As a default I would check here a lot, but if you think you get a load of calls from an Ace then I suppose a bet could be OK. Note that he can't have AsX.
River...I'm not convinced your opponent has many flushes (wouldn't he raise the weak turn bet with a made flush, and surely he doesn't have TsX?). Against a loose passive player I wouldn't turn top pair into a bluff by default, again you might have expected two pair or a set to raise the flop sometimes. You've still got some showdown value against an Ace, I'd just check it back

Iβm fairly sure V has me beat, but is one of my bluff targets. I canβt check it back & I think V will fold 2pair & possibly a small spade, so I confidently throw out 2 quarters. After a short tank, that seemed long to me, V laid it down.
V had never looked happy with the crying calls. It would be hard not to think I had the flush, so my story worked this time.
This is a four flush board and this is a very clear check on the river. You’d be targeting a very narrow range of mainly 2 pairs and sets that usually would play differently on flop or turn. You can still win at showdown.

This is a lady that I already bluffed earlier. She will talk herself into a fold though she probably has me beat. This is not internet poker or someone playing GTO.
I guess I won a pot you would have lost.
You have no information that she didn't have anything more than a pair.
Iβm not playing with terrible players and they donβt hang around with less than 2pair plus. They donβt raise but they will bet if you check.
Itβs a game of limited info, but my guess is she did not connect with the flush and talked herself into a fold. If I had checked back the turn, she would have likely made a large river bet and put me to a decision.
Yes, I may have had her beat all the way, could have checked and watched her muck. Nobody is right or wrong. Every villain is different. Every situation is different. And thereβs more than one way to solve each puzzle.

Discussing poker helps us all!
This was my 1st hand history, forgot to add stack sizes. A four liner or a four flush is not uncommon and Iβm looking for discussion which I got. Just trying to learn from others.
Planning on recording actual hands I play, not making up stuff. 1st hand recorded using Pokerscope - recommended on here. Iβm no rookie, but Iβm fanatical about finding any & every way to improve.
Please be patient as I learn my way around here and donβt hesitate to call me out or give advice. I will give my opinion and I want yours please. Poker is a battle, but this is not, I respect all of you that love poker like I do.
In a vacuum, a check back was probably the play with top pair strong kicker as you suggested. Donβt let my aggressive nature shy you away from commenting. I need your help.
