Thin value river?

1/3 6 handed

V1 ~ Loose passive preflop. Seen him check/minraise turn with nutted hands twice. Big river bets equal big hand. Seen him bluff for small sizes on river.

V2 ~ Loose preflop. Postflop usually a nonbeliever(station) especially in smaller pots. But he can make some crazy laydowns.
Likes to bet huge sizes(3/4+) when he has betting initiative.

Cbet flop small, check back is ok. Betting 25 OTR.

Unless either will c/r bluff (does sound like it) a 1/3ish river bet sounds good.

I limp in. But our raise managed to get this 3ways in position with a quite playable SPR, so nice result.

I'm either/or on the flop. Against more calling station / ABC types I think I lean to a small bet.

Think I'm ok with turn given our weak looking flop line. Way closer to a fold than a raise, imo.

Think we probably have a very thin very small value bet here targeting a couple of weaker Tx and maybe some small pocket pairs. I'd go like $25.

60-70 seems good to me

Not sure what V donks with that will either fold better or call worse.

I'm a big fan of the bet/checkback/bluffcatch line, but I don't think I've ever tried it multiway.

I'd bet the flop - not looking to give free equity. Turn is a call - I'd bet like 40-50 OTR.

I’m betting 30 on the flop. Both check to me, I’m claiming that queen. I expect maybe one to call, so I’m barreling the turn. Not sure sizing until I know what response I get from this line.
Acting like 2nd pair is the nuts and driving it. This has got to look strong to villain. Maybe it’s wrong, but unless they have a queen, they can’t stand the pressure.

If someone is still with me, I’m probably trying to check back the river. Surely, you guys drive 2nd pair sometimes and this seems like a good opportunity. If I run into a queen, they’ll let me know. I’d rather find out early than take a stab on the river.

PRE - seems standard.

FLOP - What would you do with a really strong hand on this board when they both check to you? You'd bet, right?

Why aren't you c-betting here? Yes, you could be turning your hand into a bluff or value-owning yourself, but you won't know that until you bet. When you just check it back, you'll just be guessing where you are on later streets, on a lot of run-outs.

TURN - No, we're generally not raising now, with 2P2K after we check back the flop. What would we be repping? What would we be targeting to call, or what would we be targeting to fold? A raise doesn't fold out very many better hands, and can't get called by very many worse hands.

If we had T9cc, or maybe 98ss, some hand that probably isn't best, but has some chance to improve, and doesn't mind if they both fold, maybe we could raise. Our hand isn't weak enough to turn into a bluff nor strong enough to raise for value.

RIVER - What worse hands call if we bet thin for value? Maybe JT or T9. We lose to AT, which isn't folding unless we go huge, and all the QX.

I'm not saying we can't bet. But checking back here is fine. If you bet, bet small, and just fold to a raise. Maybe bet $40, at most.
