Trips oop vs aggro player
1/3 9 handed
V is a super aggro player.

Spoiler
He initially views me as 'wild', then said I'm actually a nit.
First session vs him I 3betted him in position like a madman shorthanded when he was opening super wide.
Anyhow, after that session, I just played normal and never got involved in any pot with him again.
He opens super wide whether in EP or in blinds.
3bets probably a bit tighter.
Likes to bet big or overbet whether for value or bluff.
He's aware of his super aggro image.
He's capable of calling down super light as well.

Larger on flop. Seems like easy call down with description of villain.
Check flop.
If we felt both opponents were very passive I’d be more on board with betting. But we’re going to make most the money here off weaker AX and diamond draws which are all going to bet themselves at a very high frequency, and be are going to be on the hook for stacks when you raise.
Add in villain is very aggressive and we want to check even more to catch some junky bluffs. Depending how often you think they’ll blast off with junk you may even want to just check call.
As played we’re not folding to this opponent, and part of that rationale also makes raising not ideal, too much junk in their range to get called by worse often enough to warrant a raise.
Seems like an easy river call as he's bet just over 50%. He can have a worse Ax but not sure about bluffs with this sizing. His 120% overbet on turn is more interesting. It could be a protection/value bet with a worse A, possibly a bluff with a pair or bdsd (e.g. T8) or a small flush.
I think you have to bet the flop for value, and at least half pot. It is unlikely anyone bluffs at this, but you should get action from worse aces and want to build the pot.
Obviously, need to check the turn and call down.
I obviously limp in but that's my style. With a "super aggro" player in MP I think it actually becomes an obvious deviation to every one else's norm (unless we're expecting a crapload of 3bets from this guy).
I probably lean to a check versus a super aggro guy on the flop.
Not in love with the turn card/action, but not folding versus a super aggro guy.
For this price versus this guy, who could also easily be value betting worse, I'm sigh calling the river.

Given super aggro, it seems a sigh call. Expecting to lose at least 50% of the time though.
