I have only played with this player before in a MTT scenario so not sure how he will vary playing cash games. I know that I have seen he is capable of making bluffs in MTT's

My thoughts reading this is a weak king that skipped a street.

I would have continued the story and bet the flop and continued betting until I met resistance. Instead of giving villain tough decisions, you gave him the lead and let him put you to a tough decision.

If you have the lead, villain likely checks the turn and you can take a FreeCard to the river if you think he could be slow-playing a monster.

Limping with 77 from the cutoff makes sense to me, but I rarely limp. But you beat most queens and he could have A8. As played, I think I would call, but wouldn’t be surprised to see k9.

Grunch:
I would have c-bet this flop , as played its a bit hard to know whats going on
the river bet is so small, its at least a snap call I think
I could also see value in raising to get a weak K to fold,

Alot of the draws missed on river. This is a snap call.

Maybe raising turn small is a thing to think about. Get value from all draws. Villain will also play more face up on river. You might even fold out Kx(rare and villain dependent).

Having Ac makes me want to fold. Calling with no clubs.

Thanks I dont mind betting flop either but we will not get a great deal of information as he can still call with draws and Qx Kx so I think checking keeps his range wider and all his low pp and sc in to bluff with

Easy call. I would have bet flop.

in position i range bet this flop 1/4-1/3 or so and check behind most turn cards, mostly to deny equity to small pairs and runner-runner hands, and to let worse queens call.

as played call river. im not turning a hand this strong into a bluff by raising.

What’s our plan after turn goes x/x and he bets river though?

Grunch:

PRE - seems standard.

FLOP - I'd probably just c-bet small from IP, even multi-way. We can bet 1/3 pot. They're both going to be pretty wide here, and we should have a clear range advantage.

TURN - calling seems fine, with the Ac in our hand.

RIVER - we're basically guessing now. V has a ton of missed draws as bluffs, and we don't look very strong. I'd probably flick in the call.

My preferred line here would have been to c-bet flop, check back turn, and bluff catch river.

Bluff catch based on sizing tells. If V comes out and bets big, we can call or fold. If he bets small, we call. If he checks, we can bet small to get some thin value, or just check back if we're not sure and don't want to reopen the betting.

After checking the flop (I would bet), this is an easy call down for me. He could easily have a worse Q, worse pair, or a bluff. If he has me beat, so be it -- I should have bet the flop.

Thanks appreciate advice
