start by checking, go from there

I limp in, especially at any game described as loose splashy (which I'm assuming means raisey).

Flop looks like a pretty standard old skool WA/WB spot, so I'd check, probably call a bet, and go from there.

Hero?

This is the second recent thread where someone has cbet a pocket underpair on an Axx ~drawless flop that isn't vulnerable. What is the point of the bet?

Anyhoo, as played I'd probably just sigh fold. Very little he could be semi-bluffing. Otherwise we're just getting into a massive pot with a very mediocre hand.

I would mostly range-check from OOP when HU as the PFR. Ace-high boards, I tend to play as over-bet or check, even when IP and HU as the PFR. So, here, with KK, there's not much reason to bet.

With the Ac on board and the Kc in your hand, if he checks back flop, you could maybe start a delayed c-bet on the turn and call a raise, if it's another club. Otherwise, I might take a check flop, bet small on turn line.

There just isn't much we need to be worried about here, if we're not already behind. Like, if he has a PP lower than KK, he's drawing to 2 outs. I mostly just want to pot-control from OOP on a board where we're going to have AA or AK occasionally, but we'll never have 52 or 44 or 33, or really any 2P combo.

As played, it's a $hlt spot. I probably fold to the raise because we're not deep enough to effectively maneuver going to the turn, and I'm mostly expecting him to bet big, if not move all-in.

If we have a read that V is likely to be FOS when he takes this line, maybe we can call the raise and take a check-call line on the turn, effectively turning KK into a bluff-catcher. It's not impossible that he could be taking this line with a hand like 65s if he's aggro.

The problem with playing KK like a bluff catcher is that V could just have 44, 33, or some odd-ball AX combo that flatted pre and now wants to play for all the money.
