You're conveniently ignoring the open size and stack sizes.

You're conveniently ignoring the open size and stack sizes.

It doesn't matter: you are still getting good immediate odds to hit a set, even with 22.

With TT, you aren't just set mining. TT is a call or 3! HU. You probably have the best hand 4-ways. The question is call or 3!. Folding would be ridiculous.

Folding pre would be ridiculous.

One of the single biggest factors regarding the profitability of setmining is how multiway it goes. We're already getting 3:1 thanks to going 4ways, so we more-or-less only have to make up a single ~PSB on the flop to get close to ~breakeven. Yeah, the raiser's stack ain't great (only offering about 12.5:1 IO), but we should still get that a decent amount of the time when he flops an overpair at this small SPR. Meanwhile the other stacks are much larger, so we could possibly make some real money there. Yeah, OOP sucks and helps limit our IO, but again, we don't have to make up all that much. I could see folding smaller pairs due to RIO, but bigger medium pairs seem fine to flat here. Not to mention we often simply have the best hand that will sometimes hold and win UI. IMO.
