AQo UTG facing a 3b and a call.
1/2. Rake and promo is 6+3+1 to 60.
V1 (covers) is mostly TAG but plays a little too wide and calls too much, VPIP around 35 percent. H has read a lot about poker. When he 3b in the SB, he carefully counted out 4x to 48. A few hands later, he open-limped UTG+1 with 55. In a comment on his own hand, he identified correctly his mistakes when he said to the hero: βI should have bet the turn, right?β
V2 (190) is a loose aggressive who went all-in preflop facing a 30 dollar raise and turned over QQ. VPIP around 50 percent.
Hero (230) has a TAG image.
OTTH
Hero opens 10 UTG with AQo. V1 OTB raises to 30. V2 in SB calls. Hero?

Fold. You are not doing well at all against V1.
Guessing full ring of 9?
I can get behind a jam here. "Starting to Study, VPIP 35 Guy," is probably starting to 3-bet lighter, if not as light as bots do, but hasn't yet figured out they need to actually call wider than KK+/AKs here. So they fold way too much to a UTG shove, and there's 70 already in the pot.
200 to call 30 + 30 + 230. V needs 40.8% to call. I think V'll talk themselves into folding a lot of things that have 40% versus your actual range, never mind your actual hand. Plus, we have blockers.
Or fold works, obviously.
Is 35% VPIP V1 a TAG?
From BTN V1 could be very wide as described (35 vpip). With this rake structure, I prefer to jam with 70 already in the pot. If he has it, he has it.
I’d muck AQo pre against that action. You’re crushed by V1’s value range and out of position.
A btn 3b vs utg is probably one of the stronger ranges. I would fold.
You're getting a great price to end up OOP with a trap hand.
I'd probably fold.
that rake is killing you, isnt there a higher game?
Important info. Probably still can fold but I’m more on board with a jam short-handed.
Getting a good price to call too of course, but that’s my least favorite option.
I considered calling with the good pot odds.
I folded. Playing AQo multiway and oop against LAGs is bad news for Rembrandt.
I never considered jamming.
Technically, 3 is promotion, and 1 is tip. You obviously get back the promotion over the long term. In MGM Springfield, the dealers get a restaurant wage.
Rake and promo is a reason to jam: hero scoops 70 rake-free instead of 61.
I'm rolled only for 100 BB at 1/2 and practice strict bankroll management. Family leaves little time to grind out a promotion win.

Take shots at 2/5 otherwise youll be at 1/2 your whole life.
I'm not folding AQo 6-handed to a button 3bet from someone ~35% VPIP and dead money from someone even looser. Could get on board with either jam or call given price and situation, leaning jam
