check or bet large
check back and see what he does on the turn.
Pot / call it off. This board is really good for us range vs range, and this guy is gonns punt with worse hands.
Pot sized bet here to represent a big pocket pair. Itβs not so much that checking back looks like AK, but that villain will fold often to a bet. You donβt want to open the door for a hyper aggressive player to start you backpedaling. Getting the dead money now is fine in this situation and this is what will happen most of the time.
With a dynamic board where hand equities change drastically on the turn, you could still be in good shape if villain comes along. Villain opened making it less likely he connected with this low card flop. However, when he calls your pot-sized flop bet, itβs time to slow down, even with a good turn card.
Grunch:
PRE - based on prior hand histories, I'd think we could 3B slightly larger, at least to $60.
FLOP - this is a spot and board texture where my default would be to range bet for a small size, like 1/3 pot, with plans to barrel off on a lot of run-outs. With two spades on a 732 board and the ace of spades in our hand, I'm not worried about V check raising us.
I might go slightly larger than 1/3 pot against this V, to milk him a little more before making him fold, and discouraging him from trying to take control of the betting.
Alternatively I might go a little smaller with the c-bet, planning to call a check-raise and barrel. I think this V might x/r light if we c-bet small, barrel turn, and give up on the river.
Assuming V calls our c-bet, I'd barrel on most turns. The cards I wouldn't like would be non-spade 6's, 8's, and 9's that might make him a set or 2P. I might not barrel on non-spade T's or J's either, just because those are likely to make him a TP hand that isn't folding to a barrel. Definitely barreling any A/K/Q, spade, 5, or 4.
If V x/r's flop for anything less than 5x or c-bet, I don't think I'd fold.
Doesn't seem like we have any FE against this guy, especially on boards that don't hit us, so I'd check/fold until I made at least TP. Although I guess some argument for cbetting small which hopefully can get us to realize our equity to the river, but that can sometimes backfire where we don't even see a turn card.

Depends on how comfortable you are with variance and whether losing this pot will tilt you. Versus this guy, c-bet/gii seems fine, but I understand just checking back and seeing a turn.
I'd probably check back with plans to bluff catch - this is a board that rarely improves anyone, if we bet we're never folding better hands, and if we check he probably insta bluffs.
What would you do if you actually had the FD and two overs with SPR 3? Bet small/3! or check back? Do that.
I foresee turn silliness if you do x-back flop, and V thinks you've a weak range.
I cbetted 35 in game and got a fold.
Tbh, I had no clue what to do if he x/r.
It was early on in the match I needed more info on his plays.
Turns out he's crazy aggro w/draws, so if he ever x/r I probably get it in on such flop with ease.
He even slowplays value sometimes.

OUR plan? I get your money? Sweet.
Well, how does the villain make money? Getting you to be high ranked hands when he's hooked something with garbage.
How does villain lose money? He blasts off with nothing and gets called.
I don't raise that flop. Just for pot control. You're ahead of a lot of what he has. Betting makes him fold worse hands. He's probably going to bet the turn and you call. Then evaluate the river. Yous should be calling here a lot though.
You need a strategy overall for how are you going to make money from this guy.
PS. No clue what teh spoiler is.
