Was aggression a factor?

Table dynamics
H $300 stack. Seat 1. This was Hs third table in a long session. Had aces cracked twice and was stuck all night.
Seat 7 and 8 were players I like to call βraise happyβ they were VPIPing ~35% and raising $12-$13 without sizing up for number of players in the hand. Neither player in this hand.
H was VPIP ~20% raising between $20-$45.and 3betting between $40-$75.
Main V UTG+1. New to the table sat down with about $300 now has $169. Has been quiet all night. Hasnβt made any moves or been in any notable pots

What do you think guys? H has a lot going against him. At low limits a limp back raise is aces 49% and the other two aces 49% with pocket kings around 2% of the time. The only thing in Hs favor is that V is short stacked.

Not sure what happened to my initial response, but this is a puke/fold against described V. Would need signs of aggression and/or tilt before I'd consider anything else.
Villains age? If hes young this is a snap call. If he's older like 60+ snap fold.
This past orbit how many times have you been opening? If you've been opening 3+ times, I think we have to look him up.
Tbh, hard to fold QQ for less than 60bb. I rather puke call than puke fold in such spots.

I found my winrate went way up when I made "they are not playing back at me" my mantra, sans real reads of aggression, not just age.
I"m confused. You say V is new to the table and quiet all night. If you mean he's new to this room but has been at the table for hours and this is his first aggro, I'm folding.
But if you've seen any signs of tilt because he's down 50%, I would call.
Main V was a MAWG. The younger side of MAWG. When he sat down at this table he had what looked like a large stack. I think he was playing at other tables. The casinos high hand promotion just ended and tables were breaking. Iβve noticed more action at this time of night. It was between an hour or two after he sat down when I was dealt my Queens. I actually asked myself how is his stack so small I havenβt seen him lose a hand.
SB MABG. Loose passive stack size about the same as mine.
It is a really good spot for him to make this play, with 2 people raising a high percentage of hands. The shove should not be viewed as strong as a limp/3! deeper.. He could have AK/JJ, etc. I doubt it is some total spaz. QQ may still not have odds to call.
Note:
When winning donβt go anywhere, play hard.
When losing, donβt keep playing what turns out to be a long session - do something else and come back later. You canβt keep your mind right. Looking to get queens cracked too?
Gambling is Streaks
Unfortunately, no matter how we try to eliminate it, gambling is part of poker. So, recognizing streaks (and the fact that will usually continue) can be useful.
Lot of factors when playing short stacks
How long has villain been short?
Is he using his stack as a weapon expecting folds? Is he bored - double up or go? Would he really make this huge overbet with AA or KK or bet smaller with value? Might he rip it with 99 or TT? Does he figure that since heβs short, someone will call and double him up?
I think I would know what to do. Just think I would have a better read than quiet. I would know how he let his big stack dwindle and have a good idea of his mindset in this situation.
Perhaps, you have been at the table too long and are no longer seeing the clues as they unfold.
snap call lol sorry he had KK+
H almost called. I wasnβt happy about it. But in the end I thought $169 was too small to fold to. Then I remembered that the SB was still in and I needed him to go away. So I shoved.
SB tank folded showed AKo.

Board comes K high and my hand holds up. SB did say that he would have called if I flatted or folded.
I'm not folding for sub $200. Yes, you often see people limp-jamming with AA/KK, but when they start getting shorter stacked usually nitty people will suddenly jam weaker. Consider that he is in a spot where if he called $25, he has almost 1/5th of his stack and will be OOP with a low SPR. Even a fish is going to recognize that isn't a comfortable spot. So when V has a hand he really likes, but doesn't really want to play post flop, he might just jam. I certainly wouldn't be surprised to see any pp or broadways here. I see people I thought were super tight suddenly show up with random garbage in similar situations.
If V had $300+, then I think we can exploitatively fold.
