Simple Fold To Elderly?
Villain - I don't frequent this casino, but he seems to live there. Like a literal cartoon avatar of an OMC. Probably 80-85
$2/5, pretty tame boring table, I've been there 90 minutes.
H - $900, Villain covers
H - Opens 7♥7♦ UTG+2 $20
Call
V - 3B to $55
H and Rando call
7♠K♠2♥ ($170)
V leads $50...
H makes it $215
Rando fold
V Rips, so $630 to call
Feels bad

You want to fold the second nuts on the flop because of someone's age?
There is another forum for this sort of hh
Actually it doesnt belong on any forum
If you never fold a set on this board to a player of any type, you won't even notice the blip in your winrate.
I can’t wait til I’m 80. I’m gonna be shittin in my diaper right at the table while I’m turning bottom set into a bluff against some hot shot with a backpack.
Raise flop smaller so he doesn’t fold AA or AK.
PRE - I wouldn't hate a fold to OMC's 3B. Calling is fine, though.
FLOP - He can have TPTK without the flush draw, or he can have the nut flush draw, but not both. He can also have AA and KK. With his small bet size, he might also have some QQ, JJ, or even JTs, which seems to be the OMC's signature bluff.
We don't want to fold out AA, AK, QQ, JJ, JTss, or AXss, and we don't want to punt to KK. Against this type of V, I'm more worried about punting than letting him draw, so I'd just flat call when he c-bets less than 1/3 pot.
If he's on a draw, we'll know it based on his future actions. If he's worried about the draw, he'll slow down and check if it comes in.
The presence of the FDFD makes it harder to fold when he rips it in, because he could do that with AA and AK. If the board was rainbow, we might find the fold. For that reason, I'd prefer flatting his c-bet over raising on this two-tone board.
As a general rule, I prefer to play smaller pots against OMC's, unless I have the nuts.
Without a strong read on villain's play can't fold here. I know too many that can have AK or AA.
I have also played with some old guys who look like OMCs but are not. If that is the case there is a chance of some other hands.
BBV is <---- that way. Locked.
You have been around the forum long enough to know better, so don't give me the "it was a legit question" malarkey when you posted results in the OP.
