Cheeseburger gone wrong?
30 minutes into Friday day session. V is unknown. $1/2.
H $290 SB AKss fold to H. H says Chesseburger. Thinks BB agrees and throws in his dollar to complete.
V late 30’s WG. $325. Raises to $12?? Wtf? H now realizes the V doesn’t know what cheeseburger means. H 3b’s to $37. V calls.
Flop $68

H goes $50, V goes $125, H stuffs for $253 total. Standard?
If you can get someone to go along with it, it's usually worth a few bucks of EV to try for the high hand. If your room has a royal jackpot, even better. The odds of hitting with a suited broadway are about 1 in 2000.
As for the actual hand, having a hard time putting V on a hand that beats you, as AA/KK usually wouldn't turn down a 4b oppo and 55/33 would be surprising $12 raise candidates.
Leaving aside the apparent miscommunication and debates over chopping or high hand mining...
I'd 3B larger from OOP, probably $50. Flop, I probably bet pot, or even over pot, and hope it looks bluffy, because WTF do we have when we limp-3B from the SB?
We're so polarized here that V isn't calling with 22, 44, 66-99 or A7o. Might as well try to get max value from whatever non believing PP or draw he has here.
3B stuffing is pretty face up, but doesn't seem like he's going to fold, so I'm down with it.
Laughing my balls off if he turns over AK.
Results: V snaps with KJo w/ no heart and H stacks up EV and Sklansky dollars but loses all of his actual chips. Again. Just questioning even the hands that seem straightforward to make sure I’m not losing the basics.
