I have no idea how to use the player descriptors "nasty" and "VIP."

Not so similar -- should have posted separately.

H1: Snap (as too calling range, not much else gets here this way.)

H2: Gross, but fold vs a player who tightens up post and a call.

Hand 1: 77

Hand 2: the SB leading out otf with AQ doesn't really make sense. I call.

I can see 77.

Are you not concerned w/ CO? Vs one plyer I call, but vs two w/ this action -- and one is tight post? Although if he is aggressive pre, he should not have AQ, I guess.

No, he asked what's the bottom of my calling range there.

Sure, I'm semi-concerned, but he was described kinda like a bully (very aggressive) even if he tightens up a little preflop I think if he just turned a set he would play it the same way. If he was a tight player or even a good reg I would fold but it's only about a psb more. If we were deeper than it would be easier to fold.

I meant getting here this way as the bottom of my calling range 😉

I still don't like H2, unless they have zero respect for H or are just gamblers -- maybe VIP means whale?

I meant to say postflop

Hand 2.

The VIP is a whale, so I’m pretty sure he can call with sets or two-pair type hands.

The biggest question for me was the CO. I’ve seen him 3-bet quite a lot, so during the hand, I discounted AQ from his range. I think there’s a high chance a lot of his AQ would 3-bet me here.

CO had Q9 as well, and the VIP mucked.

Hand 1 confused me. This guy had T9, and I started thinking that maybe I'm too tight in these spots. I also call here with 77+ and would likely fold QQ+
