AJo 3-bet multiway against drunk opponents.
5/5
These three guys (MP, BU, SB) have been chatting and drinking all night, the kind of VIP table you want to be at.
MP1($500) - I didn’t pay much attention to him; it was late, but I noticed he’s a fish as well.
Hero($500) - Lost a few big pots at this table.
BU($1000+) - Drinking and smoking weed all night. Similar to SB.
HH: He cold-called a 3-bet with K4s in a similar spot and beat me with trip 4s.
SB(~$400) - Drinking and smoking weed all night.
HH: He easily got it in with Q9 on a 965 board, donk/called a flop raise, and called the turn (a ten) all-in.
I’m pretty sure he’s frustrated, even though he’s not showing it. He’s lost several pots and dropped from a $1 750 stack down to $400.
The BU and SB were passive fish at first, but they’ve been getting more aggressive as the night goes on. Five hours ago, they were playing about 30% of hands, now it’s closer to 70%. It’s definitely the alcohol. The BU is winning, while the SB is on the losing side
BB - This guy was the most competent of the opponents.
MP1 raises to $20, Hero(CO) A♣J♥ 3bet to $70, BU calls, SB calls, BB calls, MP1 calls
Flop($280) A♥ 9♠ 7♣
MP1 leads for $120, Hero calls, BU calls, SB shoves for $360, MP1 folds, Hero - ?
They were laughing like crazy throughout the entire hand.

Fold pre against the unknown fish.
Once you get here postflop and MP1 folds, I'm inclined to stackoff against the drunk fish.
I don't like 3betting an EP or MP opener with AJ with 100 BB's effective unless I at least know he's not a nit. I also prefer to be deeper so I can maneuver post flop without committing my stack if I decide to cbet, but that's just me.
As played I would most likely just fold to the donk bet (he was the original raiser who flatted a 3bet then donked out in a 5 way ace high flop. At a min. I think this is usually AK, two pair or sets, and even if he has AQ we're still behind). When the SB jams, he's basically saying he's not afraid of AK (people tend to play more straight up in 5 way 3bet pots). I would probably just fold to the jam, even if I called the 120. I can't see how we can be good here, unless this guy's been doing crazy things (the HH shows he called a donk bet previously with TP, but now he's jamming).
I probably just fold AJo to an unknown, even if I do think he's a fish. You haven't been paying attention so you're not quite sure. Once we get the all-in from the small blind, a call from the other drunk, and a fold from the unknown, I'm getting it in.
Out of interest on inebritation...
1. Drunks tend to get more agressive and way overplay so you can make a clear adjustment
2. Stoned people I haven't worked out a pattern to exploit... they're often slower in making decisions, but I don't see a systematic pattern to exploit. My sample size may be small and unreliable since it's just if I can smell it on their breath.
Preflop, I would flat call. Hand is too strong to fold against players with wide ranges. Not a good hand to 3!, because similar to AK/AQ which would usually be 3! and dominated by some hands that will call the 3!. Would rather 3! light with a suited connector or suited ace.
3b pre is surely fine. Call is the worst option.

Recently my thoughts have been pre-occupied with how often I've made an ill-advised 3B to iso rather than smooth call and let the fish come along when I'll be IP for the rest of the hand.
I guess I don't hate the 3B pre. If these cats are drunk and high, and splishy-splashy as a result, I could see 3B'ing more, to $80, or even $100. See how much they want to FAFO.
MP1's flop donk is cute. What's he repping? A9? A7? I guess we can just smooth-call, but I really want to raise, because so much can go wrong if we just call.
SB shove? So there's $760 in the pot, and we need to call off another $240? With TP3K, holding one of T8's outs?
Just get it in. He's going to have a boat-load of worse AX, some 9x, some 86 and T8. He's LOL-jamming. Just LOL-call.
ETA - just remembered the BTN is still in the hand. Definitely want to re-jam over SB's raise, when MP1 folds. Let's clean up some equity by getting the BTN out of there.
Just read the reveal, and....yeah, this is why I like raising over MP1's donk and re-jamming over SB. This is a clown show, and we're the one being set up to catch a pie to the face.
