Trips in position played (too) passively

Here is a hand I think I butchered ... happy to hear feedback on each street.

5/10, 9 handed, ~1700 effective
V is a good player, very aggressive when he senses weakness and particularly good at extracting value from non nutted hands, yet capable of folding vs aggression.

V opens 40 in MP; folds around
H calls otb with 98ss, blinds fold

Flop(90): 6h8c8h
V cbets 40
H calls (?)

Turn(170): 7d
V bets 130
H calls (?)

River(430): 3d
V bets 205
H calls or raises? If we raise, how much?

The right moment to raise was most probably otf, but I somehow missed it.
Once we call flop, do we raise turn on this runout and action? Probably yes, although I suspect V would be able to fold some overpairs here. Anyway, I missed this chance too.
River seems to me like the worst street to raise, because now I represent a hand stronger than I actually have, or at least I am at the very bottom of a value raising range.

I mix calls and folds on both the flop and turn.

Raise is optimal OTR, but you're probably not getting paid off unless you've shown the ability to make light river raises.

Is 40 the normal open here? Or is that possibly a sizing tell? If it's a tell, I might consider folding pre.

Flop flat call seems fine. Doubtful we'll be able to raise and get another two streets of value.

I think we might want to raise turn to around $400, to set up a river jam. I don't think many V's are going to fold over-pairs or draws to the nuts yet.

As played, I think we should raise river, to around $500, even though I don't expect to get called very often.

I do think we missed a flop raise. On the flop we can most credibly have a flush draw, and so can v, so he calls more with overpairs and FDs.

How often does v like to bluff catch? If he does bluff catch a fair big, I think exploitatively going 500-600 on the river could be good. The problem is that v's small river size doesn't necessarily cap him if he just thinks you are really weak here without much 8x+. And you aren't necessarily getting called by worse, so just flatting on the river isn't actually that crazy.
