Calculating EV of calling multiway allin with side pot

The hand goes:
P1 jams 2k
P2 jams 1k
P3 calls 2k.

Mainpot; 3way; potsize: 3k
Equity distribution:
P1: 40%
P2: 27%
P3: 33%

Sidepot; 2way; potsize: 2k:
Equity distribution:
P1: 68%
P3: 32%

I wanna to calculate the EV of P3 call.

My idea of the formula:
eV*mainpot + eV*sidepot - size of call = number of chips earned

0.33*3000 + 0.32*2000 - 2000 = 990 + 640 - 2000 = -370

So we lose -370 chips if we call given equities of hands, right?

Am I right?

Yes. I don't think you can really have less equity in a side pot though. You can't have greater chance to beat 2 people than 1 person.

If you are working with an equity calculator like poker cruncher you have to consider the guy all in for less as a folded range for determining side pot EV. That is the only reason I can think the calculator would tell you you have less equity heads up because of blocker effects.

It's mathematically impossible for you to have less equity in a side pot than a main pot.
