Posting guidelines update
I doubt most people read the stickies even once, much less check for updates, so I thought I'd throw what I added today out in a new thread to get old eyes on it.
The only new part is this:
Responding to a thread
This forum does not allow trolling of strategy threads. Period.
When you post a reply, post the reasoning behind the advice you give. Don't just post "call," or "fold," for example, but also what factors went in to you making that decision.
Similarly, if you post solver-based advice, don't just say "the solver says X." Go into what ranges you gave the solver to work with, what node-locks (if any) you included, why you included the factors you did, etc. If you didn't specify anything and it's a generic solver result, mention that too, so folks can discuss the differences between default solver assumptions and real live poker in the wild.
Thanks to a couple of posters for suggesting the additions.
