15/30 KThh line check

15/30 KThh line check

KThh CO

utg+1 limp, next in raise (he is on the tighter side), LJ call (also tight), HJ call, I call, button fold, sb call, bb fold, +1 call.

flop Ts8c9c 6.5 BB

x to pfr who bets, lj fold, hj call, I call, sb fold, utg+1 call

turn 4d 8.5 BB

x, pfr bet all call

river 3s 12.5 BB

x to me and I check back

Feels like I should be raising or betting at some point, or 3betting pre. Thought about betting the river but wasn’t sure if I could get called by worse.

i would probably 3b pre just bc it's fun, probably neutral-ish ev, and gets us the button almost always and a four-card flop sometimes

as played, i like flop and turn. i'd go ahead and bet river. it's certainly possible that the pfr has a scared overpair, but the turn and the river were total bricks, so if he bets the turn it seems like he would bet the river at least sometimes

Yeah bet river. You only lose to At

I think river is a pretty easy VB. The rest looks good.

Appreciate the responses. I think I relied too heavily on my live read that it looked like he had kind of a “ok pot is big enough” check on the river. I do think that probably someone else might be able to call with a worse hand even if pfr is giving up with AKcc or AJ or something.

Sure, sometimes villain shows up with an overpair or AT, but he really should be betting those and the river check is often him giving up. You’ve also underrepresented your hand a bit so you should get called by worse a good amount of the time.
