4/8 JTs turn raise with big draw?

4/8 JTs turn raise with big draw?

8 handed, relatively LP table

2 limps to me in MP, I have JT, I raise, fold ,BTN call, SB call, Taggish asian lady BB 3!, 1 calls 1 fold to me, I call, call, call. 6 way flop 9.5 BB 19 bb

Flop is A93 with one

SB checks, BB bets, call, I have a BDFD and BDSD and getting 21:1 call. BTN and SB fold. 3 way to the turn, 12.5 BB

Turn is the 8. Now have the FD and OESD.

BB bets, call, I raise.

Are you raising for value or as a bluff?

I don’t like it one bit. You don’t rep anything, BB has a super strong range, and you’re just charging yourself an extra 1-2 bets to draw. There’s a good chance you get to raise the river if you get there so I’d much rather just call and see what happens.

I thought thin value in realtime but the BB 3 bet me and other player folded. I called and missed, she bet the river I folded and she showed AA.

Bad play for sure.

my RT decisions still suck sometimes.

Don't beat yourself up. I also don't want to suggest that semibluffing the turn with a big draw is always a bad idea. It's just tough when you can't credibly represent a made hand and your opponent's range is super strong.

If you think they will bet/fold TT-KK on the turn then I think it’s close to fine, although it’s complicated by the in between player and you closing the action.

I lean towards just call based on gen pop tendencies. Most people won’t continue betting with TT-Kk in this situation because it’s suicidal. Both of you can credibly still have an ace or better due to how dry the flop is, so it’s not a very comfortable spot for them.

I’m also thinking that the in between player can have a weak ace and you might not get through them even if you get through the bb, so that’s why I lean towards not raising.

Preflop and flop completely standard.

You are more than a 2 ton1 dog to get there and only getting 2 bets in if they both call, so it’s not he right value price. Plus one of them could raise. I don’t do it if I don’t think I have any fold equity

Why raise here? Limp along. Raising here maybe correct at 20/40 but not at a 4/8 table. Nightmare happens when it folds around to BB who 3bets other two limpers fold and ur HU. Now the rake comes into play as well as being in a position where you have to call down light. You want to be in an unraised family pot with hand.
