3 limpers to you. you have to post 1/3 of a blind in the dark.

what is your limp range?

asking because widening it seems to get me trouble postflop but then i also feel stupid folding.

I would play any two suited, anything that can make a straight except weak 2/3 gappers, k5o+… I mean pretty wide but not 100% of hands wide.

This isn't really that big of a discount, and the blinds can still raise. I wouldn't loosen up very much compared to normal.

We might have completely different definitions of what a big discount from the button is. You’re saying that if you had a 33% discount on the button every time you played you would act no differently? That has to be completely incorrect imo.

I didn't say no difference, but not nearly as much as you seem to think.
I certainly wouldn't be playing something like K5o.

I currently play in a forward moving button game where occasionally someone leaves on their button so I will pay the small blind (half the big blind) on my button. I still don't play anything like a big+little offsuit hand.

Give me a 33% discount to play against people who won’t attack dead money I’m going to be playing pretty wide

what would be your range for offsuit connectors and suited hands?

hands like T8o seem like easy calls but they have bad RIO postflop.

I would probably play about what I usually play in the SB when I'm half in. Most suited hands and most off suit connectors, but no offsuit trash.
