AKo raised on turn
4/8 game, typical players. V is old man who started out tight but seems to be playing more and more hands, 2 or 3 racks deep. I have not played with him before so no other info.
1 weak limper to me in MP with AKo, I raise, 1 caller in LP , SB and V in BB call. Limper calls. 5BB
Flop is K62 2 clubs. Checks to me, I bet, 3 callers. 7 BB
Turn is a 7 non club , checks to me, I bet, fold, fold, V c.raises, I call. 11 BB
River is a 2 non club. V visibly grimaces and taps table to check.
I stare at him for a moment and bet.

It's an obvious bet, but I think the question is if he check raises the river are you folding? You probably should decide that before you bet.
The two hands he's representing are K7 and 76. If he's putting you on AA he will check call with you winning one and losing one. If he boated up and is being sneaky you have a decision.
Well played
Ok, I felt like it was a not so obvious river bet, but as I stare at him, I am thinking, what is he calling me with that I beat? And what if he xraises me?
I almost didn't bet. He looked at the board, shook his head, and said " I have to fold my two pair" and mucked his 76 face up.

Still a good bet, especially if it's someone you play against regularly. Many people wouldn't fold that, and if you know he can, you may find some bluffing opportunities.
By default, I would bet here, but it's really hard to imagine villain (as described) having hands he will payoff with except maybe precisely what he has. Now, maybe if we believe his whole grimacing act, 76 is literally the only hand that makes sense and we bet just to freeroll him. Is he wily and capable of hollywooding? Is he so bad that he might think something like K7 is now beat?
We really need villain to be taking this line with kings and sevens for a river bet to make sense.
