1500 hours of 4 8

Wanted to post this after roughly 2 years coming back to LHE poker after about 15 years away. I had forgotten many many concepts.

My local casino rarely has 8/16 when they do I play, but 4/8 and 3/6 are the mainstay LHE games. they have started what is reportedly a juicy 1/2 PLO game so I have been studying and playing that online some-may eventually switch to that but for now its LHE.

I had forgotten much and the game has evolved, got a lot of good advice here, posted a lot of hands and I have gotten better.

My rough results-(this includes HH promos, etc, not the $1-1.5/hour comps)

First 500 hours $-1.30/hour
Second 500 hours $2.45/hour
Third 500 hours $9.01/hour

overall 1500 hours, $3.35/hour. Nothing amazing for sure, but above shows my progress pretty well I think. A bit of a soul grind.

I have 65 hours of 8/16 in, down overall but not too concerned. I have posted some hands and will continue to play local and sometimes drive to the farther place that has it more consistently, but will continue at 4/8 as well. My long term goal is to be playing all 8/16 or higher comfortably when I retire in a couple of years.
