4 8 BB defense where to find a fold
4/8 8 handed. Game has been overly tight and boring.
V1 is typical 4/8 player, old white guy. v2 is unknown player to me, hasn't been at table long. MA hispanic or asian male, not overly loose or aggressive in short time.
V1 open limps UTG, call, V2 raises, BTN ccs, SB folds, I look down at J3 of clubs. Getting probably 9 to 1 I call.
V1 now 3!, he loves to LRR with KK/AA. All calls to me, I call. 7 BB.
Flop comes Q77 with 2 clubs. I check, V1 bets, call, V2 calls, fold, I call. 9 BB
Turn is another Q. I check. V1 now checks, V2 bets, I call, V1 calls. 12BB
River is the K of clubs making my flush. I check, V1 now bets, V2 calls. 14 BB I shake my head and light more money on fire against the pretty obvious K high FH.

If there's a fold it's on the turn. Pre is fine, not ideal but you're getting the right pot odds. Against some villains on the turn I'll lay this down every time and some call every time. If he had limped pre and then bet the turn I'd say he has the boat every time. But with the raise pre it makes me a little more curious to see if he actually has it.
On the river I'm really not worried about V1, if he has KK then whatever. Highly doubtful you are good but you can't fold.
