UTG is nice old LP Asian guy, limps, I am UTG+1 and raise with A8 spades. Folds to LP blinds who both call. 4BB
Flop is QQ5 with 2 spades. Checks to me I bet, 3 calls. 6 BB
Turn is a non spade low brick. Checks to me I bet, 3 calls. 10 BB
River is a non spade K. Checks to me, I bet.

pre, i think limping is going to perform better than raising in your position. if you were HJ, CO or btn you should raise.
its also pretty weird to me that youre betting air into a crowd for 2 streets but wont bet two pair on a nothing river in the other hand you posted. 4/8 is about value, not bluffing multiple people. is it because you were the preflop raiser that you feel you "should" bet or something?
I would also check turn. I actually don’t mind the raise preflop. After being called twice I think I would just check river. I don’t think this will work often enough to justify going for it (has to work 10% of the time to break even). The K actually shouldn’t hit you too much unless you have a suited k or akss.
I should have checked the river but I don't think the turn bet was terrible. Could have up to 15 outs.(turns out I did)
If get xr'd I guess I call and hope to flush up.

It’s bad luck that he was closing the action. If he had two players left to call against there’s no way.
However this should show you that you should be vbetting a lot looser than you are.
When I’m running bad or in a rut I typically tighten up my play. Preflop whatever. Calling might be better than raising in a 4/8 game. I would check the turn and definitely if having bet the turn just give up on the river.
We’ve all had downturns and posting hands or discussing them with knowledgeable friends is quite helpful.
turn barrel is not just a small error. you will get CR'd often and have to call, sometimes drawing dead or with few outs. sometimes the error compounds itself when you river an ace and feel to compelled to call. the turn bet would be better if you had a pair that you could easily b/f or sometimes have the best hand with.
I agree it's an error but I think this is overstating it. It's hard to have a full house on a QQ5x board, and you can just play your hand face up if you get XRd. There is also a ton of crap that calls the flop and folds the turn on this sort of texture. And if you don't get XRd, the river basically plays itself as long as you don't do something dumb like barrel an offsuit K.
You def should have just limped preflop.
River bet is really, really, really bad. It's generally a bad spot to bluff and AXss is probably the single worst combo to bluff with.
I would not bet the turn but I think it's a lot closer and is certainly not terrible. People peel this flop with all sorts of garbage in any game, you have plenty of equity when you are behind, you are rarely drawing dead, and you are in position and can play rivers perfectly if called. I would likely bet against 2 other players and think it's a slam dunk bet against one other player.
