4 8 kill pot with 2 LAG types
8 handed I don't remember all details
Kill pot, not sure where the kill was but he was an ABC passive 4 8 guy.
V1 is loose pre but very aggressive post. V2 also loose but can be very aggressive post.
5 limps to me in the BB with 8d4d, I make the call, kill checks. 3.5 BB
Flop comes 456r with one diamond. Checks to V1 in the CO who bets, v2 OTB calls, fold, I call. One more caller. 5.5 BB
Turn is a non diamond 7 making my straight. I bet out, fold to V1 who raises, V2 3!..... Hero?

Ugh, I hate playing these types of hands. Pre you're pretty much bound to call but not like it. Same with flop call. And then the crazy turn action. Will be interested to see if any of the higher limit players suggest folding at any point.
Is there a flush draw after the turn card?
I guess, like the other streets, I call down and hate it.
I play it the same thus far. I would not fold unless the river is an 8 or if it pairs and it goes bet-raise.
If these guyβs are nutty I suppose call down. If these guyβs are reasonable I would fold. You donked into the field announcing you have a straight and they still raised and reraised you. At best you are playing to a chop maybe even a three way chop. You may get whip sawed. This is 4/8, are people three betting in a kill pot without the nuts?
This is 4/8, are people three betting in a kill pot without the nuts? HELL, I KNOW PEOPLE WHO ARE 3BETTING AIR IN KILL POTS. SAME GUY THAT RAISES A/K PRE AND BETS EVERY STREET UNIMPROVED UNLESS RAISED. IF 9/8 IS FLOATIN AROUND OUT THERE UR JUST GONNA LOSE SOME CHIPS, BUT U CANT FOLD HERE. (SOME PEOPLE PLAY MORE AGRESSIVELY IN KILL POTS N HEADS UP).
Hero pukes in my mouth and tanks. Because it was these 2 guys and not usual scared regs I call the 3! and CO caps. Call call.
River is a 10, no flush possible. I check, CO bets, BTN raises, hero ?
Puke some more and call. Rinse out your mouth and repeat when it gets capped back to you.
I know a bunch of 4/8 players to whom Iβd fold on the turn but itβs definitely not the default play.
It's so gross but I think you just have to call here.
Yea, against these 2 guys I had to call, CO just called. CO had J8o, BTN 98o. If the BTN had been a standard 4/8 reg I would have folded OTT most likely. CO went on tilt after this hand and another loss and racked off and left.
