7c8c BVB.

7c8c BVB.

The BB seems to be a TAG so far over a very small sample size of one hour. I haven't seen him do anything particularly note worthy. This is our first BVB hand. He probably sees me as a TAG.

I open in the SB with 7c8c and BB calls.

Kd4d2c...I bet and he calls.

Kd4d5c4s...Is the plan to barrel off? Are there rivers I should just give up on if he calls the turn bet?

C/r

Is the flop K45 or K42? I like a turn c/r if it's K45(4) but think it is total spew if it's K42(4). I would probably barrel one more time if it's flop K42(4) but then put no more money in UI.

Fire away! In considering which rivers to give up on, give thought to what your opponent's range looks like and how that card interacts with it. When your opponent just calls both flop and turn they should have a lot of A or Q high type hands. They should never fold A high here, so really we're targeting Q high type hands to bluff out. We're at the stone bottom of our range so bluffing is always a good option, but be less likely to bluff cards where Q high is going to call you down.

It's K45.

Sorry!

i dont understand why you would CR the turn. does Ace high bet this turn a lot? because thats the only hand that will fold to a CR

also im guessing the correct play is to give up sometimes and barrel sometimes. given that BB doesnt know you im guessing you have good FE so id barrel.
