Does someone have video / hand histories of Phill Ivey vs Matt “Hoss_TBF” Hawrilenko?
I used to be a high stakes heads up limit specialist.
I only played with Ivey a little, and I never played vs Hoss_TBF and I am curious if anyone has the hand histories or video of this? I'd love to watch how they played.
Thanks!

Hi,
Matt has played probably 1000 hands of poker in the last 8 years.
I will happily 5x crossbook him at 40/80 ring game the next time he comes to Vegas. (Which granted might not be for a long time.)
Terrence, sorry we said mean things about your boy. Both you and Hoss were HUHU end bosses and played higher and achieved more in LHE online than me by miles. That said, in this hypothetical scenario that seems very unlikely to ever exist, I'm happy to take the crossbook if its against me or I can pick my horse. Or we can just start a black chip LHE game during WSOP, its not hard to find players
I didn't mean xbook against a specific person, just the field. Since the statement is that he'd be a loser in a typical 40/80. Sorry for the confusion.
Highstakes regulars in 2008 were quite tough, much tougher than 40/80 live regs today.
I wouldn't trust any training videos from the past. Lhe still at it infancy. No one is playing the game correctly( too much groupthink). I think it possible to have some of those edge that elite nl player has against each other +4/BB at least.
I think Bryce made well over a million mostly by figuring out how loose we need to play pre. Unfortunately for him, he was too nice and told everyone about it.
Bryce made all his money at HU over a 9 month period and was not a winning ring game player even at low-mid stakes. He also made a huge amount of money, like 30-40% of his winnings, from David Benyamine specifically. If he didn't aggressively self-promote on 2+2 there's a good chance nobody would have known who he was or talked about him after his high stakes run. He certainly had a great accomplishment but nothing that can be applied to non-HU LHE.
