I would just keep it simple and check-raise. Most people won't put us on a straight flush because we aren't "allowed" to have it or they don't even see it. But once we put in 3-4 bets, they will squint their eyes and look harder at the situation.

Feels very much like aces or ak with the a of hearts. I would definitely go for the x/r.

If you bet and he raises you can 3 bet.

If you check raise and if he’s a thinking player he might just call. If someone who I think is skillful check raises me and I have the Ace of hearts a warning light is gonna go off.

Excellent point! Old, straightforward TAGs LOVE to bet sets in position on 4 flush turns against heavy action. I take back everything I said. We would be missing out on a ton of value if we fail to donk into his sets. Bruce really nailed this one.

But what if villain has KK? I am worried that we will miss value when villain checks behind the river with a set.

Any merit to preflop 3 bet? It seems this hand should have good multiway equity and if we're 3 betting high card hands, it's probably good to smash the 456 board once in a while. But maybe there are enough players that we become concerned about running into higher hearts, although I think in LHE this is a smaller consideration than in nlhe.

Believe there's a higher chance of 4 bets total if you lead. Especially since you checked 4th.

I certainly hope you would put in a 5th bet.
