Bike 20/40 - Improvement
Kind of nitty asian guy with headphones open-limps in early position and someone else overlimps. I raise A4s in the CO, BTN folds, both blinds call, limpers call. 5 ways.
Flop 533r. Checked to me and I bet. SB calls, BB calls, nitty limper raises, other limper folds, I call, SB folds, BB calls.
Turn Ar. BB checks, limper donk-checks, I check back. (I figure this donk check is either a hand that has very few outs or a stone cold monster.)
River 2r. BB checks, limper bets, I call and hope to get an overcall.

Love the flop and turn. River is a raise here, I just don’t see bb having a real over all range here. Are you really trying to collect an overall or scared in a monster?
I raise preflop but could be persuaded it’s not good.

Well-played. Not sure what raising the river accomplishes since the nitty player won’t call with worse.
I think the turn play is the most interesting part of the hand. I may be wrong but I would be very tempted to bet. It’s very unusual for a nitty player to check raise twice in a hand.
I would not raise the river.
I don't play this high, but I like it.

A check raise on the flop is often 88 type hand here. I mean, the only things we lose to are AAA and 555 and people don’t bet fold.

Im betting this turn 100%. SO many middling pairs he has here. If he's got 55 o well
seems good to me. raising river seems bad, plus against the range you are giving villain any river raise is either going to met by a fold or 3b.
also asians love to sexy the turn when the turn comes a high card. fwiw.
