Anyone have any insight into what this will mean for Ontario players in terms of the unregulated sites like Bodog, BOL, WPN, etc?
Also confirmation that Ontario players will no longer be able to access sites like Pokerstars, Pokerparty, GG/Natural8, etc?

I'm wondering if anyone else playing on the site can just keep an eye out
and see how he's running overall.
I've never seen a player as steady lucky as him. Makes stupid overagg shoves all
day never gets called. Picks up the nuts like crazy to balance these stupid shoves.
Smashes the deck over & over when ALL IN
The amount of stupid shoves he makes with 22-66 but always sees AK like everytime.
I've watched him enough now that its gone beyond some just short term luck.
He's running better than everyone on every table he plays. And it just keeps happening.
I've never accused a reg for cheating before. But his luck is far beyond anything I've ever
seen. Please someone help me look out. I can't stand the thought of being cheated like this.
Its tilted me just to watch now because its so adsurd.

According to documentation tied to the AG’s order, “under this model, players in Ontario will be able to participate in peer-to-peer games, including games of chance and mixed chance and skill played for money, and sports betting, involving players outside of Canada.”
“Players located outside of Ontario but within Canada would not be permitted to participate in games or betting in the absence of an agreement between Ontario and the province or territory in which those players are located.”
Sites including PokerStars and GGPoker would then be allowed to lawfully combine their Ontario player pools with other pools of players from around the world, but only in jurisdictions where their international license is enough for them to operate legally.
This might require PokerStars or another site to be regulated the same way it is regulated in Ontario. I might be wrong, because I'm not an expert, but this might be very few places in which the sites operate.
I'm not sure I understand what would be accomplished here then.

That would be even worse than pre-ontario RoW if other provinces are excluded. Canada and US is who we want to be playing with, not Ivan from Belarus or Pedro from Brazil.

and rather than take money from each other, let us take if from the rest of the
world.
The Ontario goverment should have opened its own site, run by Canadians.
Then opened it to the global pool, basically allow any players outside Canada
who can legally play in there jursidication to join also. That would have been
better for everyone

Anyone thinking this has more to do with DFS than poker? I know Draft Kings was not pleased at all with Ontario getting the boot, apparently we made up quite a bit of their entries. They do have quite a bit of lobbying power. The November timing is weird though, you would think they'd want us in before the NFL season.
Also if it's purely poker related us going into the ROW pool would be devastating if we are playing all the Eastern Europeans and crushers from around the world. Our pool is pretty soft right now. Ideally we could get a mix of the states in the USA that are already merged together with each other + Ontario and whatever provinces here eventually jump on board. Only issue I see with that is we'd have to be playing in US currency but wouldn't that be the case if we rejoined the ROW pool anyways?

That wouldn't be an issue at all. That would be a huge bonus. Assuming the US geo-fenced pools are just as soft or comparable to ontario for comparable stakes, your hourly will increase 35% simply cause of the currency. ROW pool would be a disaster. A lot of Ontario regs would be fked.

This part is true but something tells me the exchange rates when depositing and withdrawing won't exactly be free of juice
