2024 World Series of Poker May 28th to July 17th ***No Spoilers***
The 2024 WSOP will take place at Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas from May 28 to July 17, 2024, with the Main Event running from July 3 to July 17. The Main Event – poker’s undisputed freezeout world championship – will have four starting days, beginning on Wednesday, July 3. Players may also register directly on Day 2.
For tonight's stream
Glaser, Mercier, and Ivey - I hope they all make the broadcast final table.
pokergo not starting it's "final table" coverage of a 6 handed 10k event with Mercier Ivey and Glaser until the FT is 2 or so hours in is a pretty massive fail.
This may be a really dumb question, but is the PokerGo delay 2 hours??
They are likely on dinner break, but I think it's mostly 1 hour delay, sometimes they have a bit more and then cut out some of the break.
Just a reminder, this thread needs to be spoiler free. So posts concerning anything happening before it is shown on the PokerGo broadcast are not allowed and will be subject to a temp-ban.
This situation is pretty crazy, but are we sure this one was on Men The Master? There is a bystander-shot video showing Men pulling some of his chips back after the hand, but that makes sense because he had Smith covered.
If anything, this strikes me as dealer error, plus an error on the floor guy who helped count the stacks out. The dealer/staff should first pull the amount of Smith's stack from each of Nguyen and Foutty, correct? If the entire t4M shortfall was from Nguyen's seat, that seems like it would be pretty obvious.
Of course, this whole thing is a story because Men happened to be involved. But despite his history of tourney chip shenanigans (alleged or otherwise), I don't think it's very likely he did anything wrong here. Then again, I also I hope I'm wrong: after decades of hearing rumors, hints and allegations, it would be nice to have the cameras at last catching him in the act.

Thanks... I almost did post something about the $10K 2-7 table that streams shortly. The controversy above distracted me from doing it.
Yea, it's hard to tell what is going on with those crappy videos. But the fact that the floor was supposedly looking into it on camera and then let the guy who was possibly short a bunch of chips go bust before confirming one way or the other sucks.
Now they pushed the stream to 8pm PST. lol clown show.

How do we know what is a spoiler?
I sort of want to know - who gets knocked out before the stream starts... to see whether it's worth buying a sub to watch it?
Stream starts in 1hr 26 mins
Is it right that it's a 1hr delay?
So I can check in 26 mins time to see who is still in and will be in the stream????

Guys who have cheated for 3 decades don't get the benefit of the doubt.
Those are very good questions ... unfortunately I have no good answers.
The main thing is to refrain from posting in this thread anything that may be a spoiler. Nobody is sure what the broadcast delay is. So if you have any doubt about some info, please do not post it in this thread until you are sure that it has aired on PokerGo.
In the past for some tourneys airing on PokerGo, PokerNews synced up their updates to match the delayed broadcast (the updates were on the same delay).

It's a 60 minute delay, they're on break right now to relocate to the main stage for the stream, meaning actual play should start around 7 pacific and the stream should start around 8 pacific. This was the last pokernews update after they went on break.
"Live updates from now on will be provided on a 60-minute delay to avoid spoilers with the PokerGO live stream.
Stay tuned for all the action."
Anyone know roughly how many runners the 1:00pm Daily Deepstakes are getting and how late they've been running? Thanks.
Wow. That Men the Master is certainly the master of something. I had never heard of taking chips back from a pot you lost.

I told myself I was going to get a PokerGo membership if Allen FT with Ivey, Mercier, and Glaser. Thanks Allen for saving me $20.
First time in a long time where I've had no desire to watch a WSOP stream, yet don't mind turning on Hustler or watching a vlog. Too much good free content.
Mercier pushing in all of Ivey's bets and adjusting Ivey's discards so they hit the reader on every hand is hilarious
