I've never paid for poker coaching but if Bleznick put up a needling course online I would pay for it just for the lols.

Stream tonight has been immense, mostly just cos of the table talk at this table. Already looking forward to tomorrows continuation.

Best few hours of wsop coverage so far this year, mostly because of Blez but DN and Phil helped.

Yes exactly, but also shout out to the old asian dude who beat phil w 64s and slammed it down on the table when he realised a pair of 4s was good.

I mentioned this in the YouTube chat, but Blez' needling of Hellmuth was effectively the sequel to the great Matt Hawrilenko chat session from years back.

Hellmuth saying "I never lie on stream, ever" and Chidwick firing back with "Well you said you were going to burn down the Rio once, that was a lie" made the night for me.

i'd imagine so. Programing a solver means you have to like poker. And a business can be made for that especially in NLHE/PLO however with omaha hi/lo the programmer would have to be a hi/lo enthusiast, but if he's already an enthusiast he'll probably not want to release that program out into the wild.

Which is good for us mixed game players 😃

There's been an O8 solver out for 7 years.

Leaders with 28 left 14 pay at end of Day 2. Look of big names, particularly in the top 8 or so.

It definitely would only work for fairly high stakes, not 10/20 or whatever O8 with mostly multiway pots.

Blom 22/29 remaining.

Extremely strange to not see Patrik Antonius in the event. He's in Vegas playing mixed games in bobbys room all summer.

Maybe the 50K is small stakes if you are playing 3K/6K. That game mostly just goes during the Series now and probably takes some top players away from the events. Still probably the biggest public game around. Wonder who plays it now. Was Brunson, Ivey, Reese, Greenstein, etc. in the old days.

Particularly, with NLHE solvers, the biggest public games are mixed games still and PLO.

Get Santhosh on Game of Gold

Do you possibly have a time stamp or clip? Would love to see that.

monkersolvers omaha solver? here's hoping it stays the way it is and doesn't get a subscription model service built out of it like vision and plo trainer or gotwizard that builds a business out of it's ranges.

flight < 24hrs, entries paid for.. so ready!

cheers to running it up to another FT

Ridiculously late PokerGO start, imo.

Be careful, comments like this can get you banned for a day

(not that I experienced it myself or anything)

In before BSumner starts complaining everyday that the stream schedule doesn’t fit his particular time zone or life/sleep schedule lol.

by parisron k

He already said a month ago that he wasn't going to complain this time. lol

Looks like my prediction back in April came true, despite parisron’s assurances to the contrary lol.

I'm weak.
We all know that.
But I'm also not wrong about this.
I've been waiting for someone to bring up my inevitably broken promise.

Hope summer's been good to you.

Shaun Deeb with 17 cashes. So far.
That to me is insane.
That's gotta be almost every tourney he entered.

No bracelet and he is 7th in POY
I think only Ausmus is higher also without a bracelet

3rd main event was won by Amarillo Slim, the guy who brought Hold Em to Las Vegas
...
13th main event winner was Jack Strauss legendary win, the origination of the phrase "chip and a chair", also the year Ungar made the FT without even being at the table
...
Also there is another (two) factor(s) that i backtested that makes me believe the winner will have a dominant performance at the final table. (Hint: 2015, 2006, 1997, 1988) (Second hint: 1988, 2000, 2012).

Neat observations! A few corrections:

 • Hall of Famer Corky McCorquodale is generally considered the person who brought HE to LV.
 • Straus only popularized the phrase. And he wasn't actually down to a chip and a chair! See the bottom of my Best WSOP Myths, Busted post.
 • Ungar's 9th place finish was 1990 and belongs with the Matloubi 21st ME win.

Looking forward to the other reveals (1st looks like players who had big chip leads going in to the FT; 2nd I have no guess).

It's a lot of cashes, but I'm sure it isn't close to the every tourney he entered.
The WSOP has completed about 55 live events, and I almost certain Deeb has played more than half of them. (Also three of his cashes are online.) I'd put the over/under at around a 40% cash rate.

That’s crazy. I feel like I looked at him the other week and he only had 5 cashes. I guess since he has 0 bracelets so far and a couple FT (not sure if DC counts as one since he was 8th and maybe official FT for that is 6?) it hasn’t felt like he’s done much.

But he’s clearly heating up now.

If you're going by bullet it's even less since he fires multiple bullets in a lot of events.
