The 2024 WSOP will take place at Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas from May 28 to July 17, 2024, with the Main Event running from July 3 to July 17. The Main Event – poker’s undisputed freezeout world championship – will have four starting days, beginning on Wednesday, July 3. Players may also register directly on Day 2.

Another Commentary rant:
I like tuchman he's fine for random Tuesday Hustler streams but FFS it was hard to listen to him last night. It was like being stuck in an elevator with him for 4 hours where he's making small talk and surface level observations to fill time. Stepping on table talk to say absolutely nothing and diverting away from interesting points being made by Chance/Pads. Also how about him guilting his way into a 5% piece freeroll of Chance in the tourney was going to play the next day?
Chance was dropping some great strategy insights (gotta sell those training memberships). He had a couple of absolutely savage shots fired at people (namely sean perry and dom nieztche), which stopped Tuch in his tracks and led to a few rare seconds of dead air because he didn't know how to follow it up. I was rolling. He wasn't shy about harsh criticism of the play at the table either.
The pollock table was so freaking boring outside of the 1 big preflop hand... I was rooting for the rare pocket aces flat calling preflop three times in the same hand.
Are POY points still calculated off some ancient system? Payouts look nicely structured, then you look over and see 311th place gets the same POY points as 10th, how's that?
This is really smart and good thing for main event. Over 5k winnings are taxable in US but for 5k profit you dont need to pay tax

Over 5k winnings are reportable by the WSOP to the IRS.
Every penny of poker winnings is taxable in the US.
