Yup deposited like 1k on there other month. Disconnected multiple times while gg ect was fine. Decided to withdraw from there as its annoying as ****
I was playing mtts the last 4 years. The last 3 from Thailand. I always had disconnecting issues at peak times and i stopped playing there. There was a point some other regs move around here and they got same issues playing peak hours. I assume their servers arent good enough for asian grinders (i dont know if you live in another part but if you live in asia that can be the issue). I have played less than 200 mtts the last 2 years in ps. Quite annoying to have 6-9 tables running perfect in gg while getting 5-6 disconnecting issues in ps

Sick to death of talking about rake, but they increased the rake on the hyper heads up sit and gos as well.
They were 2 percent rake and are now 5 percent rake. The ROI in those games was 4 percent if you were excellent, so just another unbeatable, breakeven game now on Jokerstars, with the rake increase.
Regular 6 max 2.50/5 games now dead as well at 6 pm prime time in Ireland.

How many of these players are unique players though? There is no table cap on gg so if you have a guy 8 tabling he will show as 8 players right?

The traffic between the two sites has been night and day for quite a while now. PLO200 is barely running these days at PS, while GG has it 24/7. Stars even struggling with PLO100 these days outside of main hours (and even when running, it's not good). I took this picture of the pools at 13:05 today, not much else to add:
Also even with PVI heavily affecting me, I would not get significantly better RB on Stars, while playing in much worse games. (I calculate I would get Dia lvl, so 30%). I generally rake in between 1K-1.5K depending on how active I am during the month, so that would be between 300-450$.
Just from GGcare and Leaderboards I am at 310$ already in January, and I am yet to clear my Fish Buffet for the month. (This is with1.7K in rake, but GG rake is higher cause of the fix cap, so it would be less on Stars).
So yes, Stars has a more transparent RB system, but that is all the positives I can say about them atm. Client is worse since Aurora, traffic is worse for more than a year now, and the games are also softer at GG.
Checked both 100z and 200z by hand on GG and Stars (PLO and NL), in all the average entries were 2 per player.
A few years ago, they upgraded their software to Aurora and it was more of a massive downgrade.
I have to close the software and reboot it to access the cashier a lot of the time.
If I play a heads up sit and go, sometimes it takes 30 seconds to load it and it sits me out lol.
GGPoker is another league, when it comes to their software.
A donkey would never play on PokerStars now, if they were aware of GGPoker.
Rake backs great and all but I think the legitimacy of the site is more important to many players, I feel pretty confident having my money on stars, I wouldn’t feel comfortable leaving anymore than a few quid on GG

Tbf 24/7 because gg has a **** ton of bots and people who are sharing accounts. Gg has more volume because they accept near every country with any shady way. The faster online companies realize this is the way the better online poker will be
yeah the regulations/laws that GG seem to get around "legally" is huge compared to stars who seems to ditch every country slowly but surely

Pokerstars segregated Portugal, France and Spain into Pokerstars EU and they created a separate PokerStars Italia site, because there are very high tax rates on online gambling in those countries and they didn't want to increase the rake further on Pokerstars.com.
I think money is 99.9 percent safe on GG Poker.
If anything money is riskier on Pokerstars now, because everyone is heading over to GG Poker.

Yeah the site, that has ongoing freaking superusers and bans regulars for random reasons is very likely handling your money more savely, than a site that at least tries to follow rules and regulations. You're right sir.

I don't think there is a difference between either in this regard. The risk of your money being on either site is,
A: Your account get's breached (which either assumes that GG doesn't secure account details properly - with the amount of people playing on their site, I can assume it's a high priority of them. Or simply your fault for not having proper security measures setup, In which case you are just as safe on either site).
B: Company goes belly up like Full Tilt and funds disappear (very unlikely to happen to the market leading site).
There is one comparison I can give though: Since Aurora update on Stars, I had multiple occasions/days where my hands would simply not load in/display despite being in the hand. I could not choose any action and simply was sit out in the process. This has happened to several regulars in the pool while I was playing (assuming them timing out constantly by them was also from a similar issue). This was occurring with reasonably low active player numbers on the site as well. Or their client/server simply stopping.
I never had anything similar at GG poker in about 6-7 months so far. Few days ago I had a moment where the connection to the server was lost for about 2 minutes. That was the biggest issue I faced with the site. Other than this, only micro freezes for few sec and they aren't that frequent.
You can draw your conclusions from this regarding which site is reliable/safe.
I can speak of this regarding Hungary: GGpoker doesn't have a sportsbook. The government went heavy on anything that does betting without an official Hungarian license (the native regulation is BS to begin with, to cater to the oligarchs favoured by them), and basically banned every single site that offers betting.
Atm most of them managed to setup a new alternative link to access them, and the PS client ran even when you could not open their webpages (even allowing updates). Don't know how long they will operate like this, I know they pulled out of a few countries recently because of similar issues, but at the same time Hungary never really enforced regulations against foreign sites beyond the initial website bans, so they probably know that they are fine.

True, I mean you always need to go for a win in a tournament I guess, so I would also trust a site like gg or acr more than other sites. Ure right =)

I tried logging into the site, Contact Us button does nothing. I found an old support email address, that bounces back as no longer in use please use client. I tried updating the client, but it just stuck on connecting. Hmmm, not winning me back so far.
