Inevitably, Bots and Poker
Not going to leak information I just received but even in some of the biggest entries Bots are there I am hearing. Rumours of suspended accounts due to it at the highest level. So is this it now? Are we to live with bots? Can we ever beat them ultimately as they advance and is the future death of poker "on-line?"
Is there really any security method to screen them out?
P.S. I was talking with a professional poker grinder millionaire and he said HUs he can never consistently beat a bot. So how long before 6 Max, 9 Max is unbeatable or PKOs or other formats?
((Colluding bots with an RTA Master, we going to see the death of poker like Black Friday? But Worldwide?))
As more and more cheating scandals goes on in our days i wonder what Henri"Buehlero" Bühler and his RTA mate doing right now absolutely disappeared from the poker scene...
I was reading Reddit earlier and one of the top comments had like 500 upvotes, seemed normal
Next post pointed out it was a literal copy/paste from a similarish thread a year previously. Apparently bots are now snatching old comments and karma farming/acting as humans for whatever nefarious reason.
The internet is ****ed.

Very common on reddit... even comments on posts are botted often. Same thing with comments on youtube.

Same here. A significant portion of Reddit posts and comments are bot generated.
I think there is some advertising incentive or something like how in nineteen ninety eight when the undertaker threw mankind off hеll in a cell, and plummeted sixteen feet through an announcer's table.

Has more to do with losers karma whoring than bots. You get people who actively look for new subreddits where a highly upvoted post from another subreddit might fit in so they can repost it there for upvotes.
Imagine caring about how many upvotes your account has on an internet forum. Pathetic. And 90% of people who actively post comments on reddit care about this to the point where their posts are carefully curated to appeal to as many people as possible.
All the social platforms are full of bots. There is an unreleased new AI model from Microsoft which can run in real time that makes talking to someone over video almost undisguisable from a real person. There is going to be a real push I think in the coming years to introduce something like a digital passport for accessing the internet. Sam Altman is already trying to do something like this with his WorldCoin,
People like Jack Dorsey who used to own twitter are building things like Nostr which tries to address the problem while keeping privacy but at the moment they are so far away from solutions that will be adopted outside of geeky tech circles that I think the majority of people will sleepwalk into 1984.
They mentioned this on the Solev4Why pod. I haven't watched much of the video and in reality I wouldn't even say the setup is that good. They are more trying to showcase the platform they have built where you can create personal assistants/peers to help collaborate on work.
I am not sure what they are providing above creating a Custom GPT. I think this learns and gets better the more you use it. The point though that should be taken from this is how easy it would be to integrate real time sim retrieval into this system as a live feed, you could prob even dump it into RAG for the LLM which I think is integrated into their system. They have the ability for the model to see the screen in real time built into the platform. Here he is showcasing the crude model using it for RTA online.
Edit - He isn't using it but they actually have some of RAG built into the platform. They have an option to integrate knowledge from files, web crawls and video into the grounded memory.
We are going to get new iterations of these models hopefully towards the end of this year. That is the underlying model that these platforms use will get much better, in reality that actually means platforms like this will probably be made redundant as it will do everything these platforms attempt to tact onto the system along with a much better level of reasoning.
If you want to know what people using these system actually think about cheating using these things then you can watch his apology below, starts at 54 mins into the video.
td;dw - Caveat emperor.
The poker sites aren't stupid. They have massive security teams.
When you go to withdraw any winnings they are looking at your account for suspicious activity.
As an example, Try to cheat a Casino in Vegas. It isn't going to happen.

I can tell those are AI generated, but how much longer will it be til the issues are fixed? Specifically I notice the sound doesn't quite sync up with the lip movements, and also you can notice the teeth becoming wider/narrower while they speak.

Paper is already 3 months old. Considering the progress that is happening month to month, I would say end of the year we will see public models where its impossible to tell. The thing too is that they are all AI generated people. In this case you are taking a single image and generating all the videos from that one image. The image itself is entirely AI generated. If you use a real person where you have video footage to train on you can get pretty close to perfect already.
Edit - This face swap tech was also available a few months back and I am sure has only gotten much better. This is a live stream.
