They don't want people to complain about gto robots and nits. I think stars is so hard trying to be a rec friendly site these days it makes sense to bring these kind of players. If they can make it so can I and nothing wrong with that tbh.

Hellmuth and Lex are both nitty they are just worse than the GTO players.

For some reason Lex has a big group of fans though so it makes sense to have him on a show like this for casuals.

i doubt lex is even that good at cash games. We already have things like hustler live where they complain if someone is a winning player. hearing 4 people cry that lex is winning half the episode made me want to turn it off. This is not your shitty private game if you dont like it dont play. There is gonna be some actual people with a brain every now and again.

Something like this should have actual good players be welcome unlike something like your normal hustler private cash games. no ones forcing you to put all your money in twice in 10 hands vs a set

This was 100x more entertaining than watching 2 guys stare each other down for 3 minutes at a time.

I am convinced now that Keating is actually a solid poker player who knows exactly where he is doing in every spot and either just has a ton of money and has more fun punting or is just getting in all back in massive private games.

yeah, this was always my impression as well. He might even be a pro who plays massive private games and gambles it up on streams to get invites, although him being independantly rich is more likely

i like Lex on the show and enjoy his streams, end of the day he has done more for poker than 99% of his haters im sure he doesnt lose sleep over it
