Home game cheater is playing tournaments

Hey y'all,
There is a dude who pisses me off because I know for a fact that he was involved in home game cheating and recently I found out that sucker is winning tournaments. What should I do about it?

Cry about it more. Usually does the trick for me. 😀

My first question: what do you want to accomplish here?

Get him banned from the tournament(s)? Alert the TD. Arrested/convicted? Contact law enforcement. Make victims whole? Contact a civil litigator. In each of those three, be ready to come with receipts. Plenty of people use the phrase "know for a fact" as an idiom, but the burden of proof to achieve any of these outcomes will require more than a know-but-can't-prove position.

Slap him in the face with a glove and demand satisfaction

Taylor von Kriegenbergh? Yeah we should bump the thread about that POS

ItÂ’s always the situation when you first think players are terrible and find excuses for their play, then too many situations don't make any sense but itÂ’s too late, your ass got cheated. The dude I am talking about is the worst kind, the one who brings you there, pretends loosing money at the same game but gets cut later. All what you have left is the whole in the pocket, bad feeling in your mouth and fact that you are an idiot.
FYI cheater sold him out but by that time Indian lawyer run away, oh yeah that fÂ… is a full time patent attorney

While this is a good place to vent, I'm not so sure there's much you can do except make (unproven) noise. You say 'tournaments', plural. Are these casino dailies or high profile 'affiliated' tournaments? Not that it will really matter since even with evidence the most a regulated casino/tournament tour would do is keep a closer eye on this Player.

Cheating usually requires more than one person to execute and that person is very unlikely to be in a position to continue the cheating in a 'random' tournament setting.

It really stinks to be apart of a spot where you feel taken advantage of, unfortunately there have been many, many spots similar to yours in the past with very little recourse within the Poker Community. GL

Do you think he’s cheating in the tournaments he’s winning? Are these are home games or actual casinos? How do you believe he’s doing it?

What is the point of this post? Either out the guy or let it go.

In what way were you cheated? Were there marked cards, or a shady dealer, or collusion?

Bc honestly it sounds more like you got hustled. Guy got friendly with you and invited you to a game knowing that you were the fish for the game and maybe got paid a cut for bringing in a new player.

I had one of the best players in the area invite me to his home PLO game while we were playing in the casino. He knew that I didn't play PLO often and that his game would be larger than I was comfortable with. He certainly didnt invite me because Im am some great hang at the table (I tend to keep to myself). He saw me as a mark and knew I just won a big MTT and maybe I was looking to gambol some of it. I politely turned him down and we haven't really talked since.
