Why is Matt Berkey neatly stacking up his chips after he lost an all in to Nik Airball on HSP?

pay off in big chips out of pocket, equal to what he kept?

he was going to pay airball with the big chips and keep the small chips to play with. Airball decide to be a troll and took his small chips anyways to rub it in his face.

Because Berkey is a douche. You lost, slide your chips over like a man if you know the dealer can’t reach them. Such an ass.

Lmao@ thinking this is an ass move when it's pretty standard in games where big chips are involved. Not saying it happens every time but it happens a decent amount of the time.

Probably not an issue in 1/2 nl though.

Done similar myself and seen it more often. Playing deep stack 1-3, lose big all in with reds then keep some and pay same from pocket in greens or blacks. Occassionally purple (but I hate to see any thing bigger than black. Just not needed and honestly usually don’t need black).

It is easier than trying to play 1-3 with 7 black chips in front of you and keeps g@me running quicker. Just make sure you let the dealer know AND the dealer acknowledges. Had someone (not the pot winner) try to say the green I pulled from pocket were in play instead of making change. But both dealer and pot winner knew exactly what was going on.

It is pretty common in high stakes to pay off all ins with big chips from your pocket. How does that make him a douche?
