Craig Bergeron arrested in connection with Detroit homicide
Woke up to some really sad and unfortunate messages on telegram this morning.
Craig hasn't been around poker much in the past decade afaik but back in the day was an online/live reg and was super close to many people so most OG poker community people from the 2000s and early 2010s will remember him. Had a pretty horrible downward spiral in the last decade that ended in one of the worst ways.

Same exact Craig, yeah.
He was officially charged with first degree murder yesterday and moved to Wayne county.
What you mentioned is the exact type of thing that makes this even more sad. When he was young and had lots of money he was always so giving/caring towards friends and whoever he knew. So to see him hit this spiral and have it end this way is really, really sad.
He had just gotten out from 2 years in county jail a month or 2 ago and was posting crazy videos to Facebook live. I hadn’t talked to him in a few years but the few friends I talked to who were communicating with him in the month since he got out said he was talking literal jibberish and it was like talking to a schizo. Some of his fb videos were just him screaming.
The whole thing really sucks.
Sounds like he actually was schizophrenic... sad story. The mental health security net in the US is very poor.
I mean if u watch some of those fb videos it should become clear pretty quick that the days of this guy being a carer and a giver are long gone.
Why was he in prison in the first place?
