Daniel Negreanu's very own containment thread. All things Danny go here
how bad must he be when a girl falls asleep while making out and snores right after?
life fish..... food arrived but didn't eat it....
o well atleast the girl grinded him on the rails of a club, almost got kicked out for grinding? Kappa
Props to Daniel for putting out the odd video where hes drinking imo. He shows the real person all the time, even with the most annoying parts.
The most annoying part about DNegs drunk isnt that he talks so much, its that he asks people a lot of questions but is clearly not interested in hearing their answers, and just keeps yapping and cutting them off while filming them. When you film people and ask them a question, at least give them the chance to give a short answer. Hes very self centered.

It's almost like he's... drunk.
Has anyone on the internet been around human beings? Like at all? You guys are hilarious.

Most people dont become this obnoxious after a few beers and half a bottle of wine... Do you hang around actual people who have some self control even while drinking?
It would be cool to run a poll and see what the results of "do you think the general population is not obnoxious after drinking a few beers and half a bottle of wine" would be.
Adults aren't. Specially 50 year olds. That's typical behaviour for teens who don't know yet how they act drunk and what are their limits.
I would disagree 100% on that.
Anyways carry on.
Also if you watch the video, everyone is smiling, laughing and having a good time.
Except for Dongwuk Moon who DNegs pretends to choke after saying Moon bluffed him last year. Cringey. Like the time he slapped Mike Jozoff after arm wrestling when he was being an aggressive drunk.
From the vlogs, anyone notice Deeb seems to be fattening up again?
danny's rant today made no sense
the 1 chip is ok for 1 of 3 legit reasons
Mario does 1 of those 3 legit reasons
Jaffe ****s uo. Mario has the honor to throw the chip in dead anyways.
2nd time Amateur ****s up Deeb gets away from it and doubles.
Basically sounds like he's pissed Deeb was allowed to claw back in more than anything

I could see it being an angle where rec, or heck even pro, thinks player just shoved all-in, not noticing 1 chip left behind, which may be hidden from view by the stacks being pushed in, and assumes it all-in and calls and tables his hand. It sets up some problem situations, exposing hand prematurely, etc. I understand why peeps do it, that single chip left behind could help them ladder yadda yadda.
It's absolutely insane logic/results.
Keep Daniel's 5♥2♥4♦9♦
But simply cover one of his suits by the V, 60/40
Give V like K♥K♦9♥J♣, 65/35
Cover the suit on flop, obviously very possible, same flop he's like 20%
But yes, specifically these 4 cards, yes, it's an amazing play bro. Poker isn't dead
So when is your boring vlog coming out?
You could simply prove your point by making such a video and posting it but you are afraid you will prove kevmods point instead.
You don't have the name from the poker boom results. Plus the personality and the ability to discuss poker concepts so amateurs can understand them. Then you have to be good enough that with the money to play $300Ks etc. you can win some of them and make 21 part videos on how to make $3 million in 3 days.
^^Or how to dump a Milly in the Bahamas in a week lol.
I know its fun to dunk on Daniel but he actually played pretty standard in the Bahamas across the board and ran like **** and people knock him for being tilted but if you watch the videos like 80 pct of the people there were on monkey tilt because it was a ton of huge buyin high variance events built for maximum pain.

He ran pretty normally then lost 3 flips in a row in the late stages of a massive tourney. Tilting in itself sure, but nothing out of ordinary for anyone who plays tourneys regularly. Then he went on tilt and started focusing on all the flips he was losing instead of questioning himself on why he was going all in w J9o pre.
If you are going to make videos of $300K buyin wins, you are going to have to take some big losses too. If you look at his play or his results, it is clear he is a competent high stakes tournament player. I am sure there are better players without big contracts, but ridiculous to imply he is some fish.
lol how does anybody know how he played. We saw about 1% of his hands.
Tournaments pay like 1 of 8, so if you just play $500 tournaments, you will often be down $5000 on your last 10 tournaments. If you play only $300Ks, you will likely sometimes be down $3 million is the last few months or whatever.
He may sell action, even at a slight discount in the $300Ks or whatever. Then he collects his $3 million a year or whatever from GG.
I wouldn't play the kind of schedule he does, if I had his skills. He doesn't really play many tournaments and I doubt he plays much else. It would seem to make more sense to grind stuff you can beat. However, he has GG money and assets and probably backing or selling action, so he can do that.
I explained that he won the PPC this year, which is a slow structure $50K mixed game. Then he is 2nd on the PGT leaderboard for this year. Plus he recently won two $300K entries. So kind of ridiculous to claim he is a whale because he is down for the last two years or whatever. Probably a lot of people playing super high rollers are down for the last two years, and they aren't playing those with their own money either.

He's down the last 7-8 years.
It's fine to say small sample size even for that since a lot of it is the high rollers but then to say "omg he won a bracelet" as though it proves anything is both comedy and hypocrisy.
Like I said bracelets are a great marketing gimmick and you're proof of that.
