Botfarm won $10 Million on WPN
Monitoring the development and profitability of poker bots has become an increasingly challenging task.
Below are my findings related to the bots identified on the Winning Poker Network (WPN).

The issue of bot proliferation has been recognized for at least 3.5 years, as discussed in this Botfarm forum thread.
Despite submitting comprehensive reports to the WPN, which unfortunately went unanswered from their security team, I harbor no illusions that they will address the problem. The security service has let down the player community. Therefore, I am reaching out to poker schools, funds, and independent players.
I urge you to examine the hands played by these bots in cash games and MTTs this year, analyze their strategies in training sessions, and actively combat them at the tables. In many games, they constitute a significant portion of the player field, ranging from 5% to 15%.

Here are the aliases for Hand2Note 3 that I have compiled. However, I encourage you to verify and draw your own conclusions.

Currently, Botfarm evolve approximately every 3 months but still employ exploitative tactics, allowing to push back. Given their ability to create over 100+ new accounts per month, eradicating them requires multiple waves of blocking, not just a single sweep. This issue is not exclusive to WPN; evidence suggests that Ignition and GG Poker are already affected. While I lack data from all platforms, it is certain that they will infiltrate wherever there is a lucrative game.
In the end I would like to say that poker is a game of people with each other, not the machines. Interference by machines disrupts the essence of poker. If any room management believes that regular players can be replaced by machines - you are mistaken. In such a scenario, the game would inevitably dwindle or even cease to exist, reaching an untenable scale.

Yeah Tightwad12 for sure. Seen Otalgia for maybe about 2-3 weeks now. Haven't noticed him much one way or the other.
Seems like BigRoosterjrod finally disappeared haven't seen him for a couple weeks now.
Was surprised how long he lasted as he was reported way long ago. I thought he was just Phil Nagy's bot account at that point.
Slowrolling rivers and preflop for 5-7 seconds (even with the nuts) is one of the most consistent ways to identify bots lol. They all do it. I usually wouldn't care to reveal how I identify them in case the programmers follow this thread but its annoying enough and there's enough other stuff idm if they fix it.
The thing about Otalgia: I haven't played with him much, but his sizing schemes etc have been consistent with bots. Also just being a redliner is legit alrdy sus.
Good about the fugging rooster but how do I get sodubyze banned, he is the only bot to sit HU, it is obnoxious. I'll play them 3handed when a volume rakeback clown is around, but cba building separate reads for HU.
Yeah I don't have that many hands on him.
Most of the hands are at 25B and 100. Only have 61 hands at 200 w/ him.
But yeah looking at his hands he seems very bot like. Uses the weird large donk sizings and likes to bet 3bet a bunch and go for CRs everywhere.
Vergentan new bot
Impermanente at some point moved from 25B and 50 reg to 200B.
.
I went through them and it's kinda like a pretty dumb player who knows some basics about population exploits. It is nothing like GTO, you would not detect them by comparing their hands with GTO Wizard.
They like to openraise a lot from late position, one of those two groups is iso raising around 90 % BB vs SB limp etc. but they are playing lot of spots ridiculously bad, so I am surprised how do they seem to have 10bb/100h winrate.
It is crazy that ACR has problem detecting them, their stats are p
sent tou a PM
weird that igla sits full stacked on 3 tables then min buys 2-3 other tables

Good about the fugging roo
hi Hierophany, we play in the same pool. would like to ask you some stuff about players if you’re comfortable with chatting. can’t contact u through 2p2 PM though, it tells me your account doesn’t accept PMs.
Hi, any information about valentinkabuda? He plays 100/200, also a redliner with unorthodox sizings scheme and different preflop opening and 3bet sizings.
Crapulence still playing too.
Royalpuff
Crapulence
Purelady
Cokoceba
Slurry
Oogway
Seen all 6 at some point during this month.
But only seen royalpuff, crapulence, and purelady the past two weeks
I am outside the US and does not play on this poker site.
How do they cash out? How do they get away with KYC? Can they actually withdraw the money?
I believe they definitely do this for money and they keep doing this since they are actually able to withdraw money.
I don't understand why they let this happen, which are pretty bad in a long-term
Crapulence is a pretty great username.

Good list, but half of these are not new and have been operating even since last year.
Interesting that Chaptol has started playing even 100NL reg tables now. I wonder why. I've reported some of these to support 8 days ago. Curious to see if they get banned in the next week or two.
You are also missing Meifong1 and Impermanente.
I was on the fence about valentinkabuda. How did you confirm?
What's interesting is that they keep letting these bots operate yet they have tried to ban legitimate accounts of high volume players. As far as I can tell Biluzin is still banned as I haven't seen him on in almost a week.
Seemed like UrsoBranco and Nizza might have gotten temporarily banned too as it was odd they didn't play for like 4 or 5 days.
I finally got curious enough to download the hand histories the OP posted as evidence of bots at WPN. I wanted to post the first two hands in the first file I happened to open (Botfarm_WPN_FULL2023/2023/2/23/Coleta.txt), just to give anyone who hasn't been bothered to download them a sense of the caliber of evidence we're talking about here:

Wdym? The bot (Oxxximiro) didn't do anything in those hands. The HHs are just any hand a bot was dealt in for.
Not sure if Mr Tibbs really doesn't understand how a hand database works or he's one of the bot operators trying to raise doubt.
Hopefully WPN's Game Integrity team is not this dumb.
