It seems as though there is no update on the Ontario Government asking the Ontario Superior Court to rule on merging liquidity with other pools.
A bunch of us over in the Ontario Poker Discord have been discussing and following it.

Can you explain how WPT Gold works? My understanding is that we need an agent and pay the agent and they give us money to play and we cash out through the agent?

There was a decision released in this case, with the court finding that it would be legal for Ontario poker players to play with the global pool: Here is the link to the court decision

Still early days, but it'll be interesting to see what comes of this ruling. It is being discussed in the Ontario Poker Players Discord
I wonder what happens. Personally I think it opens up many options for the Ontario Government. Hopefully they choose to merge with Alberta or US States.
I read online WSOP calgary via GG poker is starting shortly.
WSOP Toronto is expected to start in April.
I am wondering if anyone knows the time of day these tournaments
generally start. I can find all information on them except for that. thanks
