Face of the Unknown: World's Greatest Unknown WSOP Historian Interviewed

Uncovering WSOP History: An Exclusive In...

The last time I was interviewed by the media over forty years ago by a newspaper reporter, I was mad for weeks at all the errors that appeared in the article. This time around, I see only two minor editing errors (they let me add my "Jenmoji" but ignored those corrections). All the other mistakes you can assume are mine.

They did remove a few things though, including the App Store link to my app, which I completely understand. They also removed links to my Chip and a Chair 2+2 post and my clerihews.

I'm sure over the next few weeks, I'll think of other things that I should have mentioned, like the animated Bracelet Race that my older son initially put together (with extra bells and whistles that I've at least temporarily removed because of some Flourish bugs).

My website and app have already been updated since the article went live. An unintentional delay in responding to the interview questions gave me just enough time to push out a major update.

Many thanks to Melvin Schroen and PokerListings for introducing me to the poker public.

Even more thanks to all of you on the 2+2 Forums for your encouragement and friendliness. The first time I wrote about the WSOP was over a decade ago, and my blog had a peak readership of about 10 people. I very belatedly found my tribe here last year, and you've been tremendously motivating to keep going. It's been a long trip to get to here, but I hope the journey has more interesting twists ahead.

Congrats on making the big time!

Very interesting, thanks

You’ve been doing a great job, thanks!

Thanks, guys. "Big time" is a bit of a stretch, but at least it's a step in the right direction.

I thought about putting it in quotes, but was concerned it would be seen as mocking. Still, it's nice to have your work more widely read.
