Terrible behavior from big pros
I donβt know who this will reach and who will care, but I must share my recent interaction with a pro β¦ not to call him out personally, but letβs just say this person won the wsop and is well known poker player in the northeast. Full transparency: Iβm no pro and I play poker for fun and I like the challenge of learning the game at a deep level. This experience with the pro came from a recent tournament played at Parx big staxxβ¦
Sat down at the table for day two. This pro (former wsop main champion) came and sat down .. ripped open his bag .. dumped his chips then proceeded to throw the bag at the dealer and throw his registration paperwork at her with his card. As he walked away I started to giggle and I asked the dealer β¦ βare you friends with himβ because I thought for sure they were friends and this was his way of joking around with her. She said no.. I have no clue who he is. I couldnβt believe how badly he mistreated her. To my amazement .. he doubled down when she didnβt throw his bag out and said βyou can throw it out for me, Iβm not doing itβ I was so angry, I wanted to strangle himβ¦ it just amazes me that this person who plays for a living, treated the dealer so bad.
Funny side note .. he won 7.5 million and his wallet had holes and crumbs falling out of it, when he took his license out β¦ I guess money canβt buy class or a wallet π€·π»ββοΈπ€·π»ββοΈπ€·π»ββοΈ

cool story, bro ?
Thanks glad you liked it .. I guess you think this behavior is acceptable. Yeeesh
Hachem has always been known as an asshole if I recall
This is def about Joe mckeehan. Hes an odd dude- if it bothered you so much- why not say something directly.
Youβre right it was himβ¦ I would have said something but the floor actually specifically said donβt say anything as I spoke to a supervisor because of how crazy I thought it was β¦
Not odd, just an ass
we all know its mckeehan
Ah ok. I thought everyone since the boom had been paid over 7.5m. Sorry Joe, you came off well on that Joey Ingram interview anyway.
Mcheean appears to be a cheat at worst and a thoughtless person at best. Too bad the dealer didn't have some choice words for him
One thing I do know about Joe McKeehan is if you approach him with your wife he will be very accommodating with pictures, etc. Very nice guy from what I hear.
Sarcasm? Saw him at last WSOP, actually was my wife who spotted him. Stop briefly to congratulate him. No autograph, no photo, no drawn out discussion, just brief pleasantries. Was a total ass. Quite rude. He wasnβt on break from a tournament. Wasnβt talking to anyone. Wouldnβt have slowed him down 15 sec.
The idea that being with your wife and he is so nice literally made me laugh.
truthfully shocked he hasnt come to the thread and said something hes not one to shy away from haters aside from the whole blocking everyone on twitter thing
Philly going to Philly
If it was LA I would assume it's Johnny Chan
It was mckeehan... I guess his behavior and in general being a pos is well known... at least I know for next time. lol cheers fellas
Last week Parx deep stack 1500 day 1B, Joe late reg comes to my table and tosses his seat card to the dealer. Dealer asks for his ID and receipt and Joe clearly irritated gets into a fairly comical argument with the dealer and calls the floor over. Eventually he shows his ID and receipt and we play on. Later on Floor comes over to pull the BB (Joe) to balance the tables and as he's collecting his things I say to him make sure you have your ID out and show the dealer..he pulls out an ear bud out as he's walking away and said I didn't hear what you said and walks away before I could repeat it. While he was technically right about it (floor checks your ID and marks your receipt before giving you a seat card) he was acting like a little entitled Bxxxh. Dealer may have had some past dealings with him, I don't know but we all had a good laugh about it.
