Would be kinda stupid if venividi and galfond didnt take him up on it, i think he is drawing stone dead vs both.

Jungleman has a similar cadence to Elon Musk.

He said "your best game" so I'd like to see Peter Clarke challenge him to contract bridge.

Doubt he was talking about non poker games. So I was brushing up on my heads up, no qualifier, hi lo split decare where the high gets 60%.

On X, Veni Vedi accepted, then Jungle said 'get your subs up and do more for community.' Which, hilariously, VeniVedi had posted earlier that day how he donated $100,000 to charities after winning his 1 million challenge.

Then Jungle somewhat accepted, but said he can't finish 10k hands b/c he's too busy? Then also said he only wants to play on WPT Gold?

Is Jungleman looking for a real match or is he looking to get publicity + signups for club WPT gold?

Either way I think these challenges are great for the game. I hope these two can match up for a completed PLO challenge!

Yeah, I agree it's good publicity. Even if Jungle's plan is to throw a "Tom Dwan" eventually, it should still be publicity nonetheless.

Jungle is smart he did his research. There are only couple players who meet the criteria Phil Galfond, Code Doug and Bencb thats about it. Seems also he got a deal with WPTgold hence the challenge good for him.

In most HU spots Jungle is going to be the favourite aside from a short list. Most poker content creators are drawing dead vs him HU.

Sklansky does but Petting Zoo would never play him head up in any stud variant.

He made day two of the Champions Texas poker tourney going on which reconvenes on Monday at 12. Maybe your boy Phil Hellmuth can collect for you since he is there and has a meet up game Wednesday.

Thought I posted that question, but yes it certainly should.

Zero chance Cates will play David in a stud or A-5 variant (or anyone else in anything).

Stud No Q is a great game because the fish get plenty of action, and escape for half on the river just often enough to remain hooked. Of course nobody under 50 has ever played it.

You could give every NLHE bracelet winner who’s never played Stud 8 a triple size starting stack in this year’s events and none of them would make the final 24.

If you’d like to host the world’s slowest home game that will eventually devolve into a Lynyrd Skynyrd lyric, spread Stud Hi-Lo No Q Declare, and have beer in the fridge, Beam on the counter, and blow in the spare bedroom.

I agree they won't play 10k hands, because who cares, but not a single 60+ year old has an edge on jungle in any poker game, even if it's a made up poker variant.

Is this worth pursuing? Could it help poker? Your comment could have validity if the inventor of the variant gave both participants the rules and a month to analyze them. But I was talking about one of 30 possible games all of which I invented. Such as the one I mentioned or games where you can pay to see an opponent's card. There are many wrinkles which could turn into a popular ring game but no one who saw them for the first time would be favored over me the day after they saw them even though I am 77.
