Angle no angle?
I mean at this point anyone who doesn’t see this is an angle and plays the hand with them aggressively post is asking for it but…..
WHEN is the “I didn’t see the 3!” Angle going to be penalized, and can it be and how can it be enforced.
Especially from highly competent people who don’t ever make that mistake except when they have a hand that is going to win pre when they cold 4!
Oh you’re confused by the “numbers” Just say raise before you move a chip and you’re good! Something we’re ALWAYS taught as beginners who get crushed when we make this mistake with AA or whatever
Anyone care to argue for him?
Hand begins at the 15:00 mark.

Would be the worse angle ever lol there’s no advantage for him to go potentially 3 ways with KK oop vs chip leader.
A lot different from what that russian dude did at the ept a month ago.

That’s a fair point but maybe Moorman(?) woke up with QQJJ and is going to 4 bet himself or fold those hands to a cold 4! and maybe they even force him to min raise which is what I would have done.
How often does he announce his bet vs how often he just places this bet is what would be the indicator to me but idk. Seemed sus af

Apparently the angle was that he threw out 3.3m in chips and said 1.3m at the same time, that just indicates tremendous strenght from moormanβs pov. I dont see how that helps him (the angler) at all.
Clearly not an angle. The announcers got overly excited and were very much out of line with their commentary.
god it sucks poker go just spams FT NL holdem evemts,. so sad.
honestly its funny how quick moor was to pick up and tell his rail at how it just screamed he had a monster pre
Honest mistake, not an angle. Anyone that sees a flop should know that he meant to raise and has a big hand.
Even if an angle (most likely its not) its extremely overblown how supposedly bad this is. Awful from the commentators to start talking about how he should face repercussions for this kind of thing with literally a sample size of 1. The commentators in general are extremely biased towards Americans. If some shitreg "circuit pro" American player did this they would be excusing him profusely but when its a no name foreigner they scream for blood...
No angle.
Context matters, this guy played bunch of 150-400$ tourneys in the last year. It would be a bad angle first of all, second for a guy of his avg stake I just find it unlikely that he will try to pull of some move. It's not like those buyins are full of master mind colluders. The guy also genuinely looked quite surprised / tried to hide it very well.
Looks like a mistake, and a small one in the scheme of things.
The trouble lies in Brett Hanks not letting it go, carrying on about it for several hands. While we were watching this, my wife turned to me and told me the punchline of the old Zen story: "I put that woman down on the riverbank an hour ago. Why are you still carrying her?"
Brett Hanks is the most annoying and obnoxious announcer. That is all
just saw the video. not an angle at all.
