That kids a prick. And he ain't much of a "personality ". If you google him, the only thing that comes up are links to this fight

One of the first rules of boxing is to protect yourself at all times when you're in the ring.

Anyway this could be the start of a whole new format of poker boxing! Believe it or not chess boxing is actually a thing.

Cheap shot. Was going to win fight regardless.

If the ref didn’t give the “ok fight” signal, which we can’t see because he’s off-camera, then that dude shoulda been immediately DQ’d.

There’s a video that clearly shows the ref give the go ahead to restart, and Jungle doesn’t see/isn’t paying attention. The ref should’ve done better, Jungle should’ve protected himself, and the other dude shouldn’t have been a scumbag.

Legal, ya I guess. Cheap? Also yes

You clearly hear and see the referee single "fight". They is a clean shot to an opponent who forgot the first rule of boxing "protect yourself at all times".

Jungleman not paying attention, where have I seen this before? Was Scott Seiver in the building?

Protect yourself at all times.

Jungleman's mistake.

The ref is clearly visible when he signals "fight" at 00:14. Pretty sure you even hear him say "fight".

If Dan wants/needs time he can take a tactical knee. Your opponent is not supposed to wait for you.

anyone thinking this is fine are the same guys that snapbets 1bb when someone times out lol

It's not cool for a bout between some amateurs. However, it is in line with the rules of the sport.

Mayweather did this to Ortiz as he didn't obey the 'protect yourself at all times' advice.

Well theyre also professionals fighting for millions, and its still cheap.

Two dudes just throwing down for some competition and fame... I think safety would be of first concern. But maybe he really despises Cates and wanted to **** him up

Yeah definitely an honorable thing to do to wait for all those stallers and timebankers online. To slow down the game even further lol.

And no i dont think "this is fine" but no clue about boxing.

protect yourself at all times wtf was jungleman doing

Jungleman is sort of a disgrace to the jungle.

Also whats with jungleman or daniel cates aggressive advertising for his poker coaching in which he is trying to swindle and take recreational players money off the tables as well?

So you felt in order to defend your behaviour you had to make up a scenario where you somehow are justified to do it instead of it just being a regular reg that you have no issues with disconnecting all of a sudden and you bet 1bb into a huge pot, its within the rules of the game, but good grief man!

edit; some ppl man. If I say "violence is bad" this guy goes straight to "but what if your daughter is getting attacked by three men all of a sudden, you wouldnt protect her?!!?!"

by TouchOfEVil m

So you felt in order to defend your shitbehaviour you had to make up a scenario where you somehow are justified to do it instead of it just being a regular reg that you have no issues with disconnecting out of a sudden and you like the ****ing *** you are bet 1bb into a huge pot just cause your aids, its within the rules of the game but you are still a dickwad.

Well, just imagine the early days of online poker when, upon realizing you’re cooked with a significant investment in the pot, you could disconnect yourself on purpose and have all your action protected and not have to call a bet to see if you won or not. Yes that happened repeatedly.

Chess boxing cannot hold a candle to phone booth boxing (Google it).

Of course these yuts probably don't know what a phone booth is.......

Haha. Just googled it and the first video I clicked on had a very heavy guy fighting a skinny guy in a phone booth, with scantily clad women performing on the side. You're right chess boxing can't compete...

What about phone booth poker boxing???!!! Imagine when Helmuth brought Jungleman out in a cage at WSOP a year or two ago, if afterwards they both got in that tiny cage and duked it out!

Scantily clad women mandatory.

think it was poor etiquette but well within the rules. especially against a guy with autism.

This would be the same person that bet 1bb today yes. If that was what you were getting at.

i failed in his minimum defense frequency
