General Franco and Poker

I am starting a thread since the thread about the Haxton thread getting locked got locked just as the conversation was turned to a reappraisement of the regime of Francisco Franco:

This is really shocking to me, especially given the widespread ban on gambling under Franco's brand of National Catholicism. And since astrobel was in the process of disparaging vaccine use I am worried that his support of Franco will tarnish Mason who wasn't able to reply in time. So NVG what do we think? Should we have a Falangist movement here in the states? And what would that mean for the poker economy?
