$2.50 6-Max 5.5k entrants Tournament - Final Table Bubble
8 People left, final table is 7 players, so a massive payjump bubble. I am third with 23BB on the BTN, open AKs into chip leader (around 25BB) who is in the BB. He 3bet-jams pre. Is this a call or fold? Winner of the pot will go to the FT as an overwhelming chip leader (2-1 vs second, 3-1 vs third place stack), loser will bust before the 6/8bb stacks not seeing the FT. Assuming we have a pretty big edge, is the safer play of folding more profitable? (especially because GGpoker rounds stacks up at the final table, so will have more breathing room at the FT), or better to go for it and potentially get a big chance to get it all with a massive chip lead added to the edge?

Seems like an easy call. Yes the ICM is massive but we are far enough of his jamming range to make this a call. GG
I think AKs is good enough to call in an ICM situation, generally speaking. Unless the situation is really extreme, most of the time you'll rarely go wrong calling with TT+/AK.
However, if you're worried BB will do something like this this wide, and you don't want to call off with an unpaired hand, just jam pre. With AKo that's probably the better play, strange as it sounds. Plus, if you have the stack sizes right, you become the chip leader if you take it down and can flip the dynamic.
